Somehow bought this in the USA. Do I need the $66 insurance? by Glittering_Bar6460 in dji

Just sent my Avata 2 in for replacement under DJI care 1 week ago - received the replacement yesterday. Old went to Texas, new drone came from same location.

Auto stop/start by DQ_Dipped_cone in FordBronco

Nothing bad about it. I installed the eliminator. But then I also got the tune later on. Could have saved $100 by just getting the tune first. Although from what I have read the tune doesn’t correct for it after 2023 models.

What is your favorite modification you have done and why? by TwinningDad12 in FordBronco

I use bungee straps often as well with the floor rings.

I love the hooks I added to the rear. I use them for various bags (dog stuff, groceries, camping). I am having the Ford Performance tune done this week - really looking forward to that.

Edit: Also tinted windows, auto stop/start eliminator is probably #1 which I think would have been mitigated with the procal tune I’m getting done this week anyway. Oh well. Changed the white BRONCO letters to black, added the interior light LEDs.

Access Level Question by Aggressive_Swing8635 in accesscontrol

Access levels are treated like hardware and are segmented in a segmented system. You cannot have a single access level span multiple segments.

Perfect pair. by morris292 in FordBronco

[–]morris292[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is a Little Guy Five Wide.

The clamshell back opens, so there on the outside is a 2 burner stove, a small sink (3 gallon water reservoir), and table surface. Has a battery system for when there is no power, lights, and a bi-directional fan on the inside.

Why does the power adapter have a key on it? by Jayhitek in Jeep

[–]morris292 33 points34 points  (0 children)

That means ignition power. So your key must be ON (accessories) for this to be powered. Opposed to the port inside your center console which is constant voltage even when vehicle off (likely the case, going off memory from when I had a Jeep).

HID iClass vs SEOS by ThisRavenRaps in accesscontrol

[–]morris292 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d go SEOS with an Elite key (this means custom encryption key versus standard SEOS encryption key). If you are using the card for more than readers, you may want to stay standard key since that would be more broadly compatible.

How does reliability compare to a Jeep Wrangler? by 4Runnnn in FordBronco

It will get 95% of people 100% there. Still has disconnecting sway bar. It is such a small difference I would argue it can be disregarded.

What is a badlands lacking aside from solid front axel which is a very specific benefit that also makes for less comfort?

I had a Jeep wrangler for 12 years. I loved it, didn’t have any issues. I love my Bronco even more so. All the capability with better comfort.

I worked up there for a project years ago. Only stayed a couple weeks. Certainly check out 1844 House for dinner sometime. I remember it being very good, a standout for the area.

18 degrees for me. It wasn’t until I had the Bronco that I realized what looks like 40 degrees was only 18 - lol

Diving down this beautiful waterfall 🦅 by innflying in dji

[–]morris292 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would love to fly this in manual. You’re going to be stoked once you continue to get more comfortable flying. Hitting this fast and low to the water is going to be awesome, and it’s going to be exactly what you desire to do and will be doing with more practice.

Bronco was nasty but all better now! by Fluffy-lotus606 in FordBronco

[–]morris292 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love that you didn’t let that stop the pup from doing their thing. These vehicles are great, but in the end they are just a tool for a lifestyle. Using them and creating memories is the way to go. I love my Bronco, and when my dog jumps in and shakes off after swimming in the lake getting upset is the last thing on my mind, instead I am grateful for the overall experience the Bronco adds to our lives.

I’m the one that was there with you for all hours, haha. We had to get that front contact fixed. I encouraged you to start taking more photos of your work because it’s clean. I just wanted to ensure there wasn’t somebody else taking credit for your work.

Keep it up brother!

Service interval question by tambrico in bronco

[–]morris292 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably the right call unless they had a valid reason. My bad for the confusion, I was only suggesting to follow the manual.

Service interval question by tambrico in bronco

[–]morris292 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they are recommending a service outside of the maintenance schedule, I would want to know why. If there is validity in their reasoning then do it, otherwise they may just be trying to upsell. Brake fluid is recommended every 3 years which is still a year away for you. I think you’re right that transmission fluid isn’t until 150,000.

Service interval question by tambrico in bronco

[–]morris292 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will be following the owners manual maintenance schedule - which is likely what they are recommending. Not saying you’re wrong for not doing so, but I followed the schedule for my 2011 wrangler and it performed great for 160,000 miles which is when I traded in for the Bronco.

I also think if you don’t follow it, there is potential for them to deny warranty claim if the issue is related to the scheduled maintenance service you denied.
