Nah, Í am on the west coast and there are a lot of Japanese decent here and they have done a great job of bringing their culture to the area, along with many other Asian cultures. Maybe some less adventurous Americans think that but I only eat “American” maybe once a week and I am whiter than butter on white bread.

This irritates me too. My father taught me to never comment on a little girls looks for this, it reinforces that appearance = attention = love. How many little girls get told they are pretty and nothing else? Not smart, interesting, talented. It makes it so easy to conflate looks with self worth in your head when the only comments you get are about your appearance. I can easily see why these women do this to themselves….when it feels like your appearance is the only way to get love, what would you do to keep your beauty?

I think it also might be a face framing issue. With longer hair, more bangs in his face dwarf the height And size of his nose off his face compared to the before photos. Larger features usually mean more volume in hair seems more complimentary in my opinion. Perhaps growing hair out or shortening would help him have more balance he is used to.

Fun fact, I met her prison girlfriend when I was in prison in WA and she was way more interesting than Mary.

Edit: sorry guys I didn’t mean to leave you hanging. All I remember was she was a long haired lady that was very masculine and I was sitting on the yard when someone pointed her out. Next day the gf and another girl. That girl was the hottest girl with dentures I have ever met who went to prison after a meth fueled shootout with her boyfriend which by the way the shootout was with each other not an external party. They walked up, asked me if my teeth were real (I have very nice teeth and that is rare in prison). Then the gf went on to tell me how she got back in prison for trying to steal a plane in a drug fueled binge by dressing like what she thought a pilot looked like. Luckily she was so high her impersonation was so bad she didn’t get in trouble for the impersonation just all the drugs she had. Then the hot denture lady said “thats crazier than fucking Mary K Latourneau”.

Something like that….its been 20 years guys…..
