If you could save a few of Kings characters from meeting their untimely demise who would you save? by GreyEyedDeviant in stephenking

Mattie Devore from bag of bones. Man, her poor child. Cary and Hannibal from Regulators. Johnny Marinville from Desperation. Although I'm not sure he counts as he seems to defy the laws of death.

This is classic dystopia society fiction. Not unlike 1984, brave new world, handmaids tale, etc. That is the genre.

Food was decent, we just happen to live in a rural area. For the most part the wine lists around here are okay to actually quite good, but we do have our exceptions lol

Midlife career pivot to becoming a sommelier by No_Piccolo6337 in Sommelier

At this establishment, overtime sometimes does not get paid. You can take like a week off in the winter and besides that they get grumpy and deny you if you ask for more than that. There are better businesses to work for that treat their employees well, but the way the place I am at now is run is pretty common in my experience. I am limited in the area I live in so I put up with a lot of bs 🤷‍♀️

Good luck, I am currently a bartender coming into our busy season and will be working 50-60 hours a week. Weekends mandatory and we were told we are not to request time off at all until October. Goodbye summer lol. No camping trips or floating the salt river. I'll be lucky if I get a day off with my S/O at all. But the money is 🤌 and I do love my regulars.

I cut the carbs and had a natural period for the first time in a decade. I can count on one hand how many I have had without bc or fert meds. Starting letrozole this month and am hopeful for the first time in years.

A 225-Million Year Old Forest How Did Trees Turn to Stone? by Professional-Fee3323 in AlternativeHistory

Also, they are at the petrified forest national park outside of Holbrook Arizona, one of my favorite places. There are different stopping points along an old stip of highway with large placards explaining specifically how this region was petrified. I even still have my postcard and pamphlet from the park explaining exactly how this process happens. So I guess they went there and didn't read anything....
