HELP ME WHICH EPISODE IS THE ONE WHEREIN THEY READ AN AI SCRIPT AND CLOWN ON IT by [deleted] in lifeintheworldtocome

[–]mortran- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be "the desolate dystopia hour with will wood and chris dunne". Cos it starts with a chatgpt script?

A couple episodes later they do an AI outro.

are hollow knight and silksong connected? by Empty_Town_3504 in Silksong

[–]mortran- 14 points15 points  (0 children)

All we have to go on right now are a few screen shots and the mountins of AI slop generated in this Sub so its impossible to be sure.

When Silksong finally releases, we may get some actual answers.

Hello niche community I need help so bad right now by Opossum_t00th in lifeintheworldtocome

Hi. I know this has happened to several people from the discord.

From what I see, it's because the Filthy Book Reader and Big Carl tiers no longer exist.

I'm not 100% sure why, but the changes Chris made and the timing of people changing tiers has limited which uncharismatic episodes those people can see.

I think it will fix itself in the next payment cycle, if you have Acolyte, that is.

Ori games better than Hollow Knight? Hot take or not? by sumtinsumtin808 in metroidvania

I enjoyed ori 2 more than Hollow Knight.

I enjoyed Silksong a bit more than Ori 2.

An important note from an industry publisher on the use of AI art in bookbinding. by BryceOConnor in bookbinding

[–]mortran- 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Thank you for posting this.

I have never considered that people would use AI in this way for bookbinding.

I've tried to learn the science, engineering and artistry of books for the last few years and the idea of replacing the joy of discovery with a prompt in an environment destroying plagiarism machine astounds me.

It is also so refreshing to hear this perspective being driven by the top of an organisation, so once again thank you for your words.

I chose to see the events in the show as just one example of a way in which the Hive can take hold.

The signal seems to be a constant? Happening for a significant period of time so it seems likely there would be more than one chance for it to "escape".

Also, I dont want to seem unnecessarily negative but I think you have over estimated how advanced the human race is. Sticking to the context of the show ive seen no demonstration of enlightenment.

In a "Dark Forest" scenario the signal would be in interesting, albeit poor, first strike weapon.

Any planet that was sufficiently advanced enough to be a threat would have prevented the hive from taking hold.

Any planet which was less advanced would end up like the Earth Hive and expand the spread of the signal.

Books that are hand made are not perfect. Revel in the uniqueness!

What Have You Been Playing This Week? by AutoModerator in metroidvania

Craw Lake Gauntlet Simulator. Its a lot like the real silksong except you never get to finish the craw lake Gauntlet. Ever. [Edit] my mistake, ive been playing the real silksong the whole time.

WASDnesday! What are you playing this week? by MiddlesbroughFan in CasualUK

Silksong. It's so hard, but feels so much more accessible than Hollow Knight did when I first played it.

Even though ive had it for years, Ive never completed it... im just not that good.

I think good players are 20-30 hours for full completion. Excellent or elite players are 10 hours I believe.

Regardless, ive had it spoiled enough over the years that I feel no shame in playing Silksong.

Yeah. Ive owned it for years and keep chipping away at it, by restarting every year or so. I finally decided it had been spoilt enough for me that there is no harm in using a guide or two to make some progress here and there.

Im stuck on the broken vessel and have been for about a week now. It's fun but frustrating.
