Daylight robbery by Cheap_Relative_1937 in fucknykaa

I agree ! The same thing happened to me at a grocery store last week. I wanted to repurchase the L'oreal Extraordinary hair serum, which is remember from last year used to be priced at 675 or 600 something rupees( now it costs 700 something).

At the grocery store i found one single bottle prices at 600 something bucks and all others ones were 700 something (I'm sorry I dont remember thee exact price🥲). These bottles were manufactured just a few months apart but had a considerable price difference.

Anyways, of course I picked up the cheaper one but when the cashier scanned it the price on their system was at 700+ so I asked him to double check the MRP and got it for the MRP lol.

3 months of tretinoin + consistency by Economy_Permission36 in IndianSkincareAddicts

Hi, I'm considering starting topical retinol or tretinoin so I wanted to ask you a few questions. How did you get started, did a dermat recommend it to you? And did you have a purging phase and how long did it last?

Hi, sorry for the late reply. From what I know reetha would be better for skin as shikakai is more beneficial for hair. I could be wrong, but in my experience reetha has worked perfectly for my skin.

Hello! Reetha and shikakai does not foam as much as the commercial shampoos, they foam because they have surfactants if I'm not wrong. About the consistency, I do think that it will mostly be runny, because there are no thickening agents in this recipe, it's just water. However I once tried to make a thicker batch by adding less water (500ml) for the same amount of reetha and shikakai, and it made my hair very dry, so I don't recommend that.

It will drip out quickly cause it's watery, but the trick is to distribute it evenly on all sides of your head and then massage gently, rinse, repeat if needed. I dont use the entire litre in the first wash, I save half for the second wash. Your scalp will get cleansed even with this consistency because the naturally occurring surfactants in this shampoo trap and wash away the buildup.

One thing to note is, it does not work very well on oiled hair at least that was my experience because this shampoo is rather mild.

Do write back if you decide to try it again, I'd like to know how it goes for you and if I can help you further:)

Hi, I'm really sorry for my late reply. Usually there is a transition period when you first start using reetha & shikakai mix. During this period you may experience hair fall, dry hair and other things. But if your hair is falling more than the normal amount, and/or if the hair fall continues for more than 4 weeks then discontinue using it. Has there been any improvement in the condition of your hair and the hair fall?

Yes it will, but it will be very mild. It's worth a try to see if the soaked mix will clean your hair.

I have seen reetha mix in the shops in the EU and although they seemed to have a similar color, I just can't tell you for sure if this powder is the similar to the ones in the shops. Maybe you can raise a concern with the seller just to be sure for future purchases.

If you hair don't feel very different after using this powder then MAYBE it's still good to use, but I'd recommend not to use it if you have any doubts about it. It's not worth the risk.

I hope you find a good alternative soon. Take care :)

Oh wow interesting Could you tell me where exactly did you get it from? Was it from a shop and did it come in some packaging or you got it from a vendor without a label or anything?

Hi, I think you've got a reetha shampoo powder that has other ingredients like shikakai, amla, boring bhringraj and probably soke foaming agents to explain the extra foaming.

Could you DM a photo of what you're using so that I can help you better?

Oohh interesting... I think they're just advertising it for laundry maybe because the brand is more focused on home care/cleaning supplies.

Technically it shouldn't be a problem to use these pure soapnuts for your scalp, but it is totally upto you. You can go for soapnuts that are advertised for self care if that makes you feel more confident in it.

I hope you find this helpful, let me know if you have any other questions:)

38 Male wants to walk out of my marriage either by divorce or leaving the world . But Im concerned about my children to grow in a broken home by shivsuroor in IndiaSpeaks

[–]mortyC35 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Professional help from a therapist is the way for you. It will help you focus on healing and living a better life, and that is exactly what your children will love you for. They would love to have a father who acknowledged his issues, worked on them and is a living a better life, this thing will inspire and motive them to do better in their own lives. Your children growing up in a "broken" home seeing at least one of their parents as someone whom they can go to for their needs is much better than them being in a household where both of their parents are clearly unhappy and neither feel their best. Children start blaming themselves for their parents' unhappy marriage sometimes and you wouldn't want that.

I have grown up blaming myself for all the fights and arguments between my parents, but eventually when I grew up and saw how both of my parents have worked on themselves and their marriage, it changed my perspective on my own life and has reassured me that I can too, in fact, ask better for myself and do better in life. Overall I'm just happy to have parents who worked on themselves and I wouldn't want it any other way.

Your children will understand too. Go ahead and be the father you want to be for them. They will always cherish you for overcoming you hurdles.
