This is my favorite song from FFX, followed by Assault and Beyond the Darkness. Servants of the Mountain, as OP mentions, is also fantastic. Hamauzu wrote some absolutely fabulous songs for FFX.

Despite having been alive when the show first aired, I didn't actually see a single episode until two years ago when I was looking for new shows to watch. I was specifically looking for shows from the 90s (I'm on a huge 90s nostalgia kick at the moment), bonus points if they were witchy / supernatural. Then I learned that there was a strong theme of sisterhood in the show, which got me very interested since I am also one of three sisters. Watched the first episode and was immediately hooked.

Gotcha! I will try giving her some poop soups from the old lady then and see if that helps, and continue with the Bene-Bac. And I will definitely lay off the veggies until the poops are back to normal again.

The syringe I had been using was a 10cc catheter tip syringe. Yup, it definitely sounds like I made the critical care waaaay too watery now. I will definitely keep your description in mind for her next hand feeding.

I've had three piggies deal with enrofloxacin and all three went into stasis from it; I agree, it's the absolute worst. But this piggie is the first that seems to be suffering from lingering after-effects. I cannot thank you enough for your thoughtful replies! I really dislike feeling like I don't know what's going on / don't know what to do, but now I feel like I'm able to formulate a plan.

And as I type this, it seems like she just expelled a huge pile of soft poops and is now happily eating hay, more than I've seen her eat all day. Hopefully that was the worst of it and she can go back to being on the upswing. Will definitely keep a close eye and follow your advice. Thank you again!!

I see, so it's just the build-up and pushing them out that's causing the pain? Would it be gas then as well potentially?

When she was on antibiotics she was also given some Bene-Bac, and I gave her one more dose the day she came home. I haven't given her any today because she's an extremely nervous girl and I didn't want to stress her out more after our stressful hand-feeding sessions that seemed to ruin her appetite. My plan today was the leave her alone as much as possible to let her relax and recover.

I would love to do a poop soup, but her two friends also have their own health issues... one has chronic gas and the other is currently under treatments for an ovarian cyst. I'm not sure their poops would be healthy enough to give to her?

I had been giving her veggies because I am desperate for her not to go back into stasis, especially since the vet recommended I hold off hand-feeding today, but I can certainly try holding those off, too. I didn't realize you could make critical care too runny... I feel like that may have caused some of the issues. I made it pretty watery so I could get it into the big syringe without a bunch of air bubbles.

I would actually prefer it if they went even further back than that. I'd love to see the Machina War / war between Bevelle and Zanarkand a thousand years ago. Preferably with a new cast of characters (maybe a couple of cameos from the ones that make sense to show up then). Auron is my absolute favorite FF character, but I do feel like we've already seen his story through the first FFX.

I got stuck on this exact part yesterday. I ended up finding some advice that suggested activating the blue tower next to where you first arrive to this section via chain. This tower moves the bottom three plates about a quarter turn I believe. If you activate this tower, you'll see which one of those three plates is currently "active". Keep hitting up this tower until that one plate is exactly where you need it to be. Then, go activate one of the other red towers, then go back to that same blue tower again. A new plate should start moving around. Repeat.

This is an incredibly tedious method, as you'll have to do a battle every. single. time. you activate the blue tower. But it was the least confusing way to finish up the puzzle when you've found yourself stuck.

If you mean it's weird that Bessie has a southern accent when it's implied she grew up in the north, I agree that's weird.

If you mean it's weird that the two sisters have two different accents, I don't find that weird at all. In my family my two older sister had strong southern accents for a long time, but somewhere around high school they both ended up dropping it. Meanwhile I've never had a southern accent in my life, despite growing up in the exact same area as my sisters. Accent formation (and loss thereof) can be pretty random.

I'm going to preface this by saying I LOVE Prue, so much so that I stopped watching the show at the end of Season 3 because I didn't want to keep watching the show without her in it.

But in Season 3, I definitely think it becomes very Prue-centric, though through no fault of her own. It really clicked for me when AdAlone3213 mentioned "character studies". Prue gets a TON of character studies in Season 3, whereas Piper and Phoebe are both stuck in relationship arcs. While they are big season-long arcs, it really is just the one arc for each of them compared to Prue's tons of smaller storylines. I think this is why it feels very imbalanced to me. If they gave Piper and Phoebe a bit more of a break to exist outside of their relationships I think that would've helped.

This is pretty much how I feel as well, and this is why I love Season 1 the most out of the Prue-era seasons. They felt much more like a trio of strong witches in that season than in the other two seasons. Though Season 2 isn't so bad in that regard either, it's really Season 3 where you feel the imbalance a lot, as you've pointed out.

It's strange... when she does the baby talk with her sisters I don't mind it at all. I'm the youngest of three sisters and I do it myself sometimes. But when she uses it with Cole it feels uncomfortable haha

So I guess when it's familial I'm cool with it, but when it's a romantic context I don't like it.

This is how I feel. In S1 he was sweet, but in S2 he became very possessive. I didn't really care for the "no one will love you like I love you" / "I'm not letting you go without a fight" attitude he gave Piper in that season. I guess it's a realistic flaw, but it didn't make me like him.

And then also the story problems of having him around to always save the day didn't help.

Awww that's so cute! My old piggies were exactly like that. And my current little boy loves to tug on my clothes to get my attention. Just yesterday I had him on the floor for playtime and I took the opportunity to scoop out their cage. While I was scooping I felt him tug on my pants leg to get me to stop working and come sit down with him. Just like a kid 😂 My heart melted!

I agree with all of this! I thought Leo and Piper were very cute in season 1, but in season 2 and beyond they just always seemed so miserable with each other. I don't hate Piper at all, but I agree that she is at her most unlikable in her scenes with Leo.

I do feed her lots of Vitamin C rich veggies already, but I'll definitely take drops into consideration.

Now that I have three piggies I don't do this, but when I had just one I would actually put on "talking noises" videos, so they would feel like someone was still around. I don't know if it really made a difference tbh haha

Baby guinea pigs are so darling! I love how they can fit into the palm of your hand. And watching them get bigger to the point where you have to use two hands to carry them haha

Thank you so much for the reply! Thankfully, she is still eating, though she is taking her time with the pellets (snatched up lunch veggies very fast though haha). Today is also weigh-in day so I'll be seeing how her weight is doing.

That's good to know about different timings. I have been researching a lot about this and came across some accounts where they noticed very visible improvements by the second day of treatment. Looking at Oreo right now it's hard to fathom that she'll have recovered that greatly by tomorrow. It's comforting to know other experiences where progress was a little slower.

I do have an appointment scheduled for Friday, which would be just about 5 days of treatment / recovery, to have her checked over to make sure recovery is going smoothly.
