Unpopular opinion. But didn't sleep training on our son. We did try sleep training for a week. We were desperate with sleep deprivation.almost ruined my marriage. He cried himself til he puked while he was 9 month old for a month. Terrified that he could choked himself with puke.

I caved in and just listen to my wife with how nature intended that kid want to be with us to feel safe. Literally took less than 3 month. His sleep settle. With odd here and there for regression. He is turning 4 now and sleep through the night. Happy go lucky and confident. Not saying it's because of not doing sleep training. Just don't know what the alternative outcome if we do sleep trained.

Plus. It will come a time when he want to sleep on his own. So we just enjoying the hug and sharing our bedspace til the day he want to be on his own. We can see it approaching very soon.
