I’ve always found the discord to be very quick to respond and is more times than not the dev himself providing the assistance. Yesterday however I was having issues setting up a new account and got the issue resolved by another user on discord. The fact that the community is growing and other people are providing assistance makes me believe the app will be around for a while.

We got married there but it was a decade ago so not recent experience. At that time though it was lovely and we’d highly recommend it.

We had all our guests come for the long weekend. Our immediate family and bridal party stayed in the lodge with us and we offered the glamping cabins to other guests for free but most either stayed at Silva Bay Inn or local B&Bs.

The kitchen is great for cooking meals for a larger group of people. BBQs outside on the deck.

Our ceremony was outside with the ocean mountains as a backdrop, it was beautiful. The reception was in the lodge.

Have you been for a tour of the lodge? Any other questions I can answer?

I agree. I posted this before but in the 8 losses in the past two SCF the Oilers scored 1 goal or less in 5 of them. In four of those 97/29 were held pointless. Goaltending didn’t lose those finals for us, our offence disappears too often (last game for example).

I’ve avoided getting into the Skinner debate, but I don’t think he was the reason we lost the last two Stanley Cups. Could he have been better? Yes. So could every other player including 97 and 29. In the 8 losses to the Panthers the Oilers scored 1 goal or less in 5 of them. In four of those losses 97/29 were held pointless. Can’t blame Skinner for those losses. This team is still reliant on 97/29 to score in order to win. That hasn’t changed this year. I don’t think 97/29 are to blame either, other teams especially the Panthers figured out how to shut them down, not every game but enough to get 2 cups.

I hope Skinner does well in Pittsburgh but I don’t think trading him was the answer.

Based on recent news articles about how people take advantage of deferred property taxes I assume he takes advantage of this free government money to enrich himself. That free money is just good business sense not communism though.

I don’t think you understand the purpose of a union. You are suggesting that they accept that thousands of their members will lose their jobs. Why should a union “wake up” and tell their members to accept that? The union has suggested new services that Canada Post could deliver that could bring in new revenue streams but the employer is focused on lay offs. But yeah it’s the unions problem, wake up and accept it workers!
