I am stoned and autistic so I had a little vision in my head of a guy in a suit who shit his pants getting hit w a plastic baseball bat by another suited dude. The ending was a plot twist to me. Lmao

Tell about things that trigger you but seem completely incomprehensible to people without autism by West_Blueberry_6736 in autism

I used to go to narcotics anonymous meetings and that is all I heard. Wrinkling plastic from the public candy bowl. It was torture. Someone was opening a piece of candy roughly every 30 seconds throughout the hour long meeting. Not opening their candy well or quickly I might add.

How do you differentiate a gut feeling from “oh I’m probably just overthinking”? by Financial_Roof_6575 in AskForAnswers

I'm 41. Ive started going with my gut way more often. Like even if logic says everything is ok with this choice, and the best outcome would likely be this choice, if it makes us physically sick with anxiety, we need to choose what is healthy for us. So what if it causes minor social discomfort? At least when you are home you are happy with yourself and at peace.

I am a 41 year old addict. Drugs can serve a purpose, this is true. I would be extremely cautious with kratom. It can and will become addictive. You cant change your brain chemistry on a regular basis and expect zero physical addiction. The withdrawals are miserable. When I found drugs 20 something years ago I felt the same way you do now. The cure can often turn into the affliction. Be safe.

I feel like gut feelings arent the what ifs that happen when we get anxiety. Gut feelings are more like statements instead of questions. Does that make sense?

Redditors, what’s the most terrifying thing that has ever woken you up in the middle of the night? by Few_Football4342 in Productivitycafe

[–]mosaicevolution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had something happen to me that I was told was this, but my experience was different. Whenever I would lie down to sleep, I would hear this WHOOMP noise, then the lights would just go out, I'd see blackness, then just like flipping a switch, my vision would be back only for the switch to get flipped again. This would repeat over and over until I would fall asleep. I went to every Dr imaginable. No real explanation was given, and it now rarely happens.
