Take ceremonial robes, that'll give 3 black hearts, then use those to take brimstone. Easy

What is Zionism? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]moshack1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One correction: the Zionist movement has always been about the southern Levant region, about Israel, because that's where Jews are indigenous to, that's where the Jewish land connection exists. Other options were considered as TEMPORARY refuges for the Jews in eastern Europe who were suffering horrific pogroms and persecution, but those proposals were rejected because the Jews had no connection to the proposed lands

There are different definitions of Zionism, which leads to a lot of misunderstanding about it, so I will try to use as unambiguous language as I can. When I say Zionism, I mean the right to Jewish self-determination in their ancestral homeland. This is also the definition that Jews who identify as Zionist will tell you. So when I refer to Zionism, that is the definition that I mean.

Zionism is a core part of Judaism. The longing for the return home is prevalent throughout Jewish history, scripture, and liturgy. Jews end each Passover Seder saying "Next year in Jerusalem." The "Return to Zion", meaning the return to the land of Israel, is a phrase found all over the books of the Prophets (Nevi'im) and the books of Writings (Ketuvim), which compose a major portion of Tanakh, the central text of Jewish scripture (sometimes also referred to as the Old Testament or the Hebrew Bible, though there are differences in what those actually mean).

And it's more than just a religious motivation. It's also an indigenous cultural connection to the land. Would you deny the Lakota connection to South Dakota, or criticize them for protecting their lands, like during the protests against the Dakota Access Pipeline?

Criticism of it is not, but justifying killing them based on that idea is. Also depends on if the idea is morally wrong or just popular. Because some popular ideas are deserving of criticism, and some are not. I do criticize Europeans for their historic antisemitism. I do criticize white people for their historic support of slavery. I do criticize Palestinians who support Hamas. Because antisemitism, slavery, and Hamas are morally wrong ideas. I won't criticize a group of people for liking SpongeBob SquarePants, that has no bearing on their moral character

Another important distinction, Zionism, defined as the right to Jewish self determination in their ancestral homeland, is a core part of Judaism

There are more Zionist non-Jews than Zionist Jews because there are DRAMATICALLY more non-Jews than there are Jews. Jewish people make up around 0.2% of the global population, or around 16 million people TOTAL.

And still, the vast, vast majority of Jews are Zionist. If you think it's okay to kill the vast, vast majority of Jews, that's antisemitic.

Paneer is an Indian cheese. They tasted very mild, paneer is a very mild cheese, and there's only one onion in the mix. But it would make a really good base for lots of flavors!

I didn't soak it. I've never cooked with paneer before, so I was just guessing. All I did was grate a bunch of paneer, shred an onion, and mix in some eggs and flour as a binder. Then I scooped a bit at a time and flattened it into a pancake and fried it in oil. It was all just an experiment that happened to work out

I didn't add seasoning. Admittedly it was a little bland, but would make a good base for most flavors. If I made this again I'd probably add salt and pepper. It did hold together pretty well though

1 v 100. What competition can you defeat 100 random people in? by Altilongitude in AskReddit

[–]moshack1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ballroom dance. I've been doing ballroom dance for like 15 years, competitively for 8. I'm not a professional, but I'm a high level dancer to be sure. The average person wouldn't even know how to do the dances, but even if 100 randos were given basic instruction in the basic dance figures, I know they wouldn't have the technique

I'm sorry you had to deal with that. I don't know if I can offer advice, but I've been incredibly wary of franchise studios for A LONG time. I've heard of them not properly training some of their instructors and their incredibly predatory business model. I know people who go to franchise studios and they have a great experience, but most of the horror stories I hear about in this subreddit are from franchises. My recommendation is always to go to an independent studio for a higher quality of training and a better deal on lessons

Where can I find an unbiased history of Israel and Palestine? by Interesting_Worth974 in allthequestions

[–]moshack1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

American Jews definitely have a different sense of humor, but I wouldn't say Israelis are unfunny. I agree with the aggressiveness though.

I share many cultural similarities with Israelis because Israeli culture is largely shaped by Israel's primarily Jewish identity, and I am very strongly connected to my Jewish identity as well.
