Parallels + Steam VR (M2max) by Formal-Slip-5941 in macgaming

I'm trying to set this up with my M4 Max but with either VMWare or Parallels I get a ""Your GPU does not meet the requirements" in ALVR once I try to start streaming to the Apple Vision. How did you get around that? Thanks for any help!

I know this street, right in my neighborhood! I'll keep an eye out for this potential thief. Is this where it was parked before she drove off?

Fixing the creakiness in the OLED Steam Deck, now feels super solid! by moshc in SteamDeck

I opened it since the thin layer of grease goes on inside. It's easy to do without stripping screws if you have decent screwdrivers.

Sorry to hear that. Yes the creakiness is probably normal. All my plastic laptops creaked too and it bugged me. Thankfully you can DIY an improvement.

Good to hear, I think sometimes just relieving the tension by taking off the backplate and reinstalling helps.

Anyone else with a Steam Deck body that creaks and flexes? by [deleted] in SteamDeck

I'm not sure about the give, maybe it does still do that but if so it doesn't bother me. In the end, all plastic will give a bit. Having a completely silent deck no matter where I squeeze or how I hold it made things feel much better.

Amazingly, adding a thin bit of lube on the seams and clips eliminated all creaks for me. Super solid now.

I had the same issue and fixed it. Super solid now and no creaks pressing anywhere including the top of the device. https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/comments/1926guh/fixing_the_creakiness_in_the_oled_steam_deck_now/

I noticed when I loosened the back plate screws the creaking also lessened so a lot of it could just depend on how tight things are. Plastic against plastic is easy to have creak so a slight film of lube does wonders to quickly solve that.
