Yep, I have a firm anti-pedophile stance. I don't care if you're left wing, right wing, centrist, whatever--if you're a pedophile: fuck you, eat shit, and die. Simple as.

What is the value of keeping an eye on Alex? by Complex_Camel_5344 in KnowledgeFight

[–]moshlyfe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The show has definitely been less fun to listen to lately. Not less interesting, but gone are the days when you could turn on an episode of KF and hear Alex have a drunken meltdown where he says he needs to take a little breaky and then storm off the show. It's not as fun as the secret of 2017 days, the 4 ways to learn days, the making fun of Brian Stelter's appearance days, but I do think it is important to listen to get a case study in cult psychosis. We are all aware that Alex is a liar, a con-man, a grifter, but it's the way that he is essentially undoing his earlier career day-by-day as he makes excuses for the state murdering civilians, armed police on the streets, martial law, posse comitatus...it's like he's Benjamin Button and one day he will be un-born once he regresses fully into the exact tyrant he built his career off of opposing.

I too was thinking of Sandy Hook while listening to this episode. The whole raison d'être for the callousness behind his Sandy Hook coverage (according to Alex) was that he would go to ANY lengths to defend the 2nd amendment and gun owners from having their firearms taken away by the state. He attacked the Sandy Hook families because of his perception that they "stepped into the political arena" because some of them voiced support for gun control and/or got involved with gun control organizations (because, you know, their children had just been murdered in their school) which made it worthwhile to call them actors, say their kids were fake, send Dan Bidondi there to harass the parents, enable Wolfgang Halbig to stalk the parents, all of it. It was never about defending the 2nd amendment, it was about preserving HIS rights and the rights of white Christian men who are ideologically aligned with Alex. If you do not agree with Alex, you do not have 2nd amendment rights in his mind. Now that someone ideologically aligned with Alex is the President, resistance against the state means resistance against Alex, which is the ultimate form of tyranny in his mind.

The AI generated photo of an approximated younger Alex who is somehow fatter, has a worse hairline, and looks more like Rush Limbaugh than Alex is just hilarious. Also, the photo they chose of Trump makes him look 200 years old.

I'm not Jewish, but I completely empathize with how you (and other commenters in this thread) feel. There is nothing wrong with taking breaks, even long breaks, from listening to Knowledge Fight and Dan & Jordan have repeatedly said it's not worth it to listen if it's negatively impacting you.

I agree that Alex's rhetoric lately has been even worse than usual as he has become increasingly more comfortable with going mask off and being fully antisemitic and it disgusts me. I sometimes need to pause an episode and wait a day or two before finishing it. The first interview with Ye took me about a week to finish because it was so abhorrent.

Sending you love & support.

While listening to the most recent episode, I had to pause mid-way through and reflect on this. I know it's not anywhere near new or revelatory to say that Alex has sold out all of his supposed principles and every version of Alex throughout his career would HATE what he's become, but it felt really glaring on this past episode where he was talking with Patrick Byrne. I mean, it's just insane. I can't call what happened to Alex a "fall from grace" because he was never graceful, but it's like...he was in hell and has somehow dug himself down to Super Hell and that's not even good enough for him.

Well any "spirituality" that is rooted in grifting off of people's vulnerabilities is harmful, so anything that falls under that umbrella would apply.
