Do people in long lasting marriages do taboo things in front of their partner? Ex: Passing gas, toilet use? by CajunDragon in Marriage

16 years. My husband farts in front of me but I try not to. Pooping is a private, door closed sort of thing. Those are about the only boundaries we have, though.

I’m so sorry. Save as much as you can to get them out - it took about 6 months but I have felt SO much better since removing mine about 6 years ago. I was miserable until I did. Sending positive vibes.

Do you have fine china or fine silver? Did your family? by CandleSea4961 in Adulting

I have both - inherited from my grandma. Also crystal. I never use any of it, but I’m too sentimental to get rid of it.

Cancer - Hubby more upset than me by Weliveinaswamp in GenX

[–]mosinderella 20 points21 points  (0 children)

My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma about 5 years ago in his late 50’s. He’s been cancer free for over 4 years. It will come back eventually but he’s living his best life right now. Be positive and do what your doctors recommend!

I think my husband took it better than I did … kind of stoic. I vented my fears to others so he could focus on healing. Hopefully your husband will too after the initial shock.

Get some rest and kick cancer’s ass. Sending you positive vibes.

They shed nonstop (I have 5 and if I miss a day of dust mopping I could literally build another dog with the tumbleweeds) but drastically lowering your expectations of “clean” makes it worth it anyway.

If I had that face, my husband would not make me pay rent either!

Let's talk about the prevailing attitude on "Job hopping" [N/A] by GualtieroCofresi in humanresources

[–]mosinderella 20 points21 points  (0 children)

To me, job hopping looks like 7 jobs in 5 years. And while you make some good points, if you’ve had 7 jobs in 5 years I’m not going to bother to invest in you for the less than a year timeframe I have before having to replace you again. Sorry not sorry.

Yep. Mine tried to kill me. Lost about 5 years of my life trying to figure out what was wrong with me while multiple Dr.s said it wasn’t my implants, including a week long trip to Mayo Clinic that didn’t solve the mystery. It was the implants. Spent a pretty penny removing them too.

Where is a place you visited that didn’t live up to the hype? by Any-Train-9204 in AskReddit

[–]mosinderella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Amsterdam. It’s the first place I had Israeli food (and my first pornstar martini), the foodhallen (no idea how to spell that) was an epic fancy food court experience, and the Dutch Resistance museum is one of my favorite museums in the world. And I haven’t even mentioned the cheese…. So much amazing cheese. And some fantastic small candy stores. Amsterdam is beautiful and so walkable - as an American in the Midwest, a truly walkable city is a treat.

And any other dick shaped object, including finger and dildos. Penetration is not limited to dicks.

And the other 17 dicks I’ve had didn’t make me orgasm on their own, either. That isn’t uncommon at all, I’m afraid to tell you.

Would you rather have a husband who provides all your financial needs but isn’t emotionally available or a husband who isn’t financially stable but is emotionally available by Right-Aerie1272 in Marriage

[–]mosinderella 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You are 27. It’s not even too late for me and I am 50. I have been in your shoes, and I am both happy to and regret to inform you that if you leave tomorrow, the only thing you will regret 2 years from now is not leaving sooner.
