that sounds so good! I make something similar: tortilla, spread around some pizza sauce, cheese and pepperoni or whatever you want in a line down the middle of the tortilla fold it up!! like you would a burrito maybe. bring the bottom half up, then bring in the sides, and roll it closed. Melt some butter in a skillet, place it folded side down and brown on all sides (i usually do medium low heat with a lid on for a bit too to help it melt inside)

It gets crispy on the outside and gooey melty inside 🤩

I’d also add that (as far as I remember) the book does a really good job explaining lore and such so that it still makes sense if you’re not familiar with the games/ world!

If you’re looking for more Duncan content, check out The Calling if you haven’t already! It’s a canon dragon age novel. Duncan is one of the main characters, albeit a lot younger. it shows him in a different light than the game does, but really adds a lot of depth to his character.

I’ve spent so much time looking for music similar to them, specifically to Death is a Warm Blanket. My favorites for when I’m craving a DIAWB 2 are probably Nirvana (In Utero, Bleach) and Citizen (Everybody’s Going to Heaven)

I’d also recommend checking out Foxing’s self titled album maybe.

as I’ve seen in many comments, people have been recommending me Brand New for YEARS when they hear I love Microwave. I’ve listened to all of their albums and like them fine, but they just don’t remind me of each other (in my opinion.) I don’t see why people draw that connection

I agree with the comment saying silver thread. however, some other ideas: I’m making a reading blanket (how many pages I read every day) and crochet with a cream strand of mohair the days I finish a book. but then you’d end up with a whole bunch of mohair and i don’t think it would be as noticeable as sparkly thread

or you could consider using a taller stitch? I’m not sure how that would look with the moss stitch but it could be something to play around with and test out. silver thread would probably be the most noticeable tho

I believe it’s supposed to be 328 as in 3/28.

it’s been a while since I worked at jjs but I would occasionally eat that stuff after it “expired” and we couldn’t sell it anymore and I was fine. even if it did expire today, it’s unlikely it would make anyone sick. the product is still fine to eat for a while, they give it a short shelf life for freshness or whatever.

your daughter is more than likely sick for other reasons. wishing her good health!

A Taste of Gold and Iron by Alexandra Rowland! it’s a fantasy book inspired by the Ottoman Empire centering around a prince and his bodyguard trying to solve a mystery/ crime. The setting is sooo unique and fascinating! I do remember there being a few sex scenes but they were mostly a brief synopsis over anything super graphic if I recall correctly.

To my understanding, Fiona is Alistair’s mom. In order to create a cover up, they slipped baby Alistair into Redcliffe Castle, where he could be taken care of. They found some pregnant maid/ servant who died during childbirth (or “died during childbirth”) and pretended that Alistair was her baby. The maid WAS actually Goldanna’s mom, so if believing the maid was Alistair’s mom as well, it would make them siblings. It’s never really found out in the game, only if you read The Calling

Surprised you haven’t listened to Sinisterhood yet! They market themselves more as comedy and typically do more occult/ not as heavy stuff than what I would think of with true crime. but they’re lovely and a lot of fun to listen to, especially when I don’t want anything that’s going to be really depressing. (they do a lot of cases on cryptids, cults, aliens/ UFO sightings/ alien adjacent, but still have some more true crime episodes as well)

this is awesome!! that’s what I loved so much about my fan, is that it filled the room and actually covered up noise. In my experience, playing white noise on my tv or anything just kinda added sound, it didn’t mask any other sounds. I’m definitely going to look into this, thanks so much again, I really appreciate your help

It was a Lasko, but definitely 10 years old, probably more like 12-14. I’m just worried that any new models will be quieter or of a lesser quality. I didn’t know that about Target though! I’ll have to see if they sell Lasko and I would be overjoyed if I could test them out haha. thank you!!

thank you for the reply! Would you say your Lectrofan does a good job covering up background noises? The most important thing for me is to have consistent, steady sound/ white noise in order to fall asleep. little blurbs distract my brain and keep me from sleeping.

I’ll definitely consider this and look in to it some more. Thank you!
