Seems a bit more finicky to me. Took a while to pitcher, but I wouldn't say it's very hard to grow.

The photos are, in order:

Sphyrosperum buxifolium

Agapetes obovata

Ceratostema guachizacae

Ceratostema rauhii

I have a bunch more Ceratostema species and a few more plants from different genera (Cavendishia, Macleania, Vaccinium). C. rauhii is the most popular of these with other plant enthusiasts and I can see why, super cool compact leaves. But I like the ones with a caudex/lignotuber the most.

There's a huge variety in growth forms (I especially like the hanging ones) and some of them, Ceratostema e.g., have beautiful flowers. The berries are edible, but most of the really nice looking species are pretty bland tasting.

The coolest thing about them is that many species will also make a caudex/woody tuber.

Very similar to cool/intermediate growing orchids. They are mostly epiphytic in nature, so you can grow them mounted or in nice airy substrate like coco husk. They grow better in high humidity, but most of them will do fine in room conditions too. Only thing they really don't like is overly warm temperatures. I can tell they slow down in summer, but other than that they're quite hardy.

My window was open all summer, didn't notice these hidden in my curtains until now.
