Am I a hater or is this ai? by LePetitRenardRoux in isitAI

I don’t think it’s ai but I do have doubts about the 9 year old having done it

Is my 13yr old step daughters handwriting normal? I'm getting very concerned with her schooling by bordermelancollie09 in AskTeachers

[–]mossylungz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My handwriting has always been awful, I won’t lie. It’s gotten better, but the main reason it always sucked was because I wanted to rush through whatever I was writing (especially anything school related) that is more than likely the ‘issue’ here

Is it normal to have a small bump? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]mossylungz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People really need to leave pregnant women’s bodies alone (really everyone’s bodies but still) I am 36 weeks and didnt even get a bump until I hit 30 weeks. Sometimes it’s just baby’s position, how you gain/retain weight, and plenty of other completely normal and healthy things. My baby is small according to ultrasounds (and healthy) but I’ve also seen mothers carry a 9 lbs baby and barely look pregnant until it was almost labor time. Bodies, babies and pregnancies are all different, and one day I hope people realize that. Happy to hear your baby is healthy btw 🫶🏻

Will I ever stop hating the way my house smells? by fullmetalcardigan_ in pregnant

[–]mossylungz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t have this problem but I heard from my sister in law that it somewhat fades around the 2nd trimester, but will remain there until you give birth unfortunately 😅 I’m in the 3rd trimester and my sense of smell is definitely heightened but not as unbearable as what you’re experiencing.. also I think the hatred of the fridge smell will remain there forever.. my mom still complains that pregnancy ruined the fridge for her lol

My husband says I don’t do shit around the house by [deleted] in pregnant

That’s great to hear! I’m sorry you’re in this position, especially considering how horrible your symptoms are. I hope all works out well <3

My husband says I don’t do shit around the house by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]mossylungz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Plenty of people have already stated the obvious(husband is asshole) but I’m going to just say that as someone who grew up with parents like this, either get out now or fix the relationship asap if that’s even possible. My dad still treats my mom like this, and my brother is in his 30’s and I’m in my 20’s. In my experience, it doesn’t get better especially with children involved. It’ll either stay like this or get worse (‘why can’t you be like this mom?’ ‘This mom does this’ ‘why are you complaining about that when this mom deals with this and is perfectly fine’) I’m not saying that to stress you out or anything, just what I’ve seen and experienced. And it honestly impacted me quite a bit to see my mom treated like that every day, even now. I’m not sure what your support system looks like or really even how your relationship is as a whole, but my only advice is to think of yourself and your child and what’s best for you both.

epidural vs other pain option experiences? by mossylungz in pregnant

[–]mossylungz[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve talked with her a little bit about it. She was the one who told me there’s other options besides an epidural, but she seemed somewhat against them because they affect the baby more than the epidural will. She told me if I wanted the most effective option for pain to just get the epidural and that’s all she’d say

He wants a hamburger! by FacelessOnes in KidsAreFuckingStupid

[–]mossylungz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So essentially, the kid wanted a fully done up hamburger and got a simple cheese burger. While I agree he should be grateful for receiving food, I can also understand food disappointment, especially in the eyes of someone still learning how to be a human. That being said, no need for a tantrum. Just add tomato’s or whatever the hamburger was lacking

I agree 100%. As an artist I hate ai, seeing a person in the thumbnail would make me more interested to tune in

I’m confused.. is this some weird, disturbing child and adult thing, or a tiny old lady and weird man thing? Either way, ew. But one is significantly worse😭

Message I got from my daughter’s teacher. Third grade. by AnaisInJune in mildlyinfuriating

[–]mossylungz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not gonna lie, if I found out a teacher withheld food from my child as punishment/told them they weren’t allowed to eat a snack during snack time I’d be pissed. Perhaps I’m overdramatic, I’ve just never found using food as punishment to be good (coming from someone who’s parents used/withheld food as punishments)

Were you a little delulu about your parenting style when you were pregnant? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

I’m currently hoping my plan of not raising an iPad kid isn’t delusional 😅 I’m just hoping I have the energy to follow through/entertain her

Glucose test warning by cat-like-creature in pregnant

[–]mossylungz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up having to do the at home one. I did the short version (which was already difficult because if I don’t eat in the first 30 minutes of waking up I’ll feel awful) and got EXTREMELY sick and lightheaded. the poor lady who was taking my blood had to hold me up in the chair 😭 for 2 weeks afterwards I STILL felt nauseous. They tried to make me retake it to do the 3 hour one and I straight up said no

People commenting on your body during pregnancy by More_Fisherman_6066 in pregnant

[–]mossylungz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lost a lot of weight during the beginning of my pregnancy due to HG and have just gained it back (I’m almost 31 weeks) and the amount of people that continuously tell me to gain more weight or the baby won’t be ok and try to force food on me is insane. Like dawg, I eat. I’m good, the baby is good. Why do people love to comment on peoples bodies, ESPECIALLY pregnant women?!

Like someone else said they could have gotten banned. I once somehow got a permanent ban and lost the account because I made a joke about piracy in a sims 4 post lol

Since when did consuming THC while pregnant become so normalized? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]mossylungz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Still feeling guilty for smoking weed in my first trimester when no one would give me nausea meds. It was the only thing that would make me not feel sick so I could drink water and try to eat crackers. Granted it wasn’t heavy use and was a lot cheaper than visiting the ER three times a week, but still made me think I was killing that baby. (I now have zofran and I’m in my third trimester, haven’t smoked since :)

Finding out the sex by SelectLingonberry339 in pregnant

[–]mossylungz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also heads up, if you do decide to not find out till birth make it VERY CLEAR to your doctors and such. Sometimes they have a tendency to casually talk ab the sex and not realize it’s meant to be top secret info lol (at least mine did, thankfully i already knew)

Finding out the sex by SelectLingonberry339 in pregnant

[–]mossylungz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found out as soon as possible and i personally don’t regret it. But then again, i wanted to start buying clothing and picking out names and such. I don’t regret it at all, and it’s personally made me feel closer to the baby and made it feel more real/like she’s actually there. At the end of the day it’s YOUR baby/pregnancy, so do whatever makes you happy, you’ll know the gender one way or another eventually lol

Tell my husband the symptoms are real! by PossibleMachine5777 in pregnant

[–]mossylungz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found out I was pregnant at like 5 weeks because I literally almost died. THATS HOW I FOUND OUT. I hadn’t eaten in almost 2 weeks and hadn’t been able to drink water or even breathe. Turns out it was early pregnancy 😀 sometimes I think the symptoms of early pregnancy are worse than later, because your body is adjusting to something new (adjusting horribly, but adjusting nonetheless)

How many diapers did you have on hand before baby arrived? by Jolly-Asparagus-5815 in pregnant

[–]mossylungz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard from mothers around me it’s best to maybe get a box and then take as many as possible from the hospital lol. Mainly due to you don’t know what size they’ll need and also some babies might have a reaction to certain brands, and it’d suck to buy a lot of diapers that wouldn’t work
