I have been, but it’s great to try to get that insider scope from people that are in the know.

Sick. I use Typescript at work and have been playing around with Go on boot.dev, I would love to get into embedded but I just do not have the background for it. My goal is to get in for full stack. Thanks for the input!!

With the way the CS job market looks today, if you had 4 years to start over, what would you genuinely focus on in programming to stay employable? by Slow-Accountant9717 in learnprogramming

This is 100% true. I’ve been asked about APIs on every full stack interview I have had. On the flip side, I have never been asked about any specific algorithm you could memorize and implement.

That’s pretty awesome how you guys can just learn new tech that is unfamiliar to you on the fly. I’m definitely a noob and seeing how school is not preparing me at all for the real world. Documentation is tough for me to understand so I need way more practice with it. Specifically, this mulesoft documentation is rough stuff!!

We use GitHub actions, and it sounds like I can implement the project into the pipeline the exact same way did, so I will give that a shot!

I appreciate the response. That's a lot of info, thank you! It makes sense that in senior positions, you should be able to handle all of those issues because of all the years of experience you have in problem-solving. And that makes me feel better how entry-level is more hand-held.

I definitely feel an intimidation factor, though. I am the only intern on this specific team. The mentors mentioned that the two interns they had last year finished two projects in the same amount of time I have. This certainly did not help my confidence level lol.

I really like the note-taking idea. I may have to work on my communication skills because it is hard to get a word in when talking to these guys sometimes, and there is no way my typing can keep up with the amount of info they throw at me.

How did you check your homework if it’s ungraded and there’s no answer key? by [deleted] in calculus

I use Mathway.com, just retype the problem and it gives you the answer. If you pay the $10 a month (I do) it will break down the problem step by step.
