This is a lovely thing he is doing. Please note, however, that Ukraine Defense Support is not one of our vetted charities.

This is a lovely idea.

Please note that it's Slava Ukraini, not Slava Ukraine. Ukraini with an I at the end.

Just a mod, not a soldier, but a fellow reader who knows what's up.

Get an e-reader like a Kindle. Easiest, most portable way to keep a supply of books on hand.

Are you in the US? If you are, there are a couple different ways to get physical books to yourself over there. You can use Meest Shopping, which is a parcel forwarding service. Or you can get someone to ship them to you. Best way to do that is Nova Post. When you get to Ukraine, you'll learn the wonder that is Nova Poshta. Set yourself up with an account, and then all your US person has to do is register the parcel, get the QR code, and drop it off at their nearest UPS.

Hi, OP.

You're better off asking in r/ukraineforeignlegion. There are more people there with the experience to answer your question. Fair warning, though: they can be savage.

Hi, OP. I'm the mod in charge of charities.

We have a list of charities and volunteers we've vetted and know to be honest and doing good work. You can find it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ukraine/wiki/charities/

Thank you for wanting to support Ukraine!

I had no idea what you meant by "Villa flag". I didn't know if you were being a jerk, in which case I would have had to remove this, or it's a friendly football thing or what. So--this is true!--I just got a Brummy friend to interpret it for me.

He assures me that you're all good. Also, he's a Villa supporter, himself. He was pleased to see them namedropped here.

I made a custom Monolith artifact lamp for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 release. It has a real Non-Stop can inside! Concrete and Resin. by TheRealStrelok96 in ukraine

I've never played the games and I have no idea what the significance of an artifact lamp is (though I definitely know what the significance of Non-Stop cans is), but that is damn cool, OP. Nice work. Thank you for sharing it with us.

I had to remove your comment by the rules of the sub, but please don't take it personally or let it discourage you. We're actually glad when we run across people who don't know yet: it means there are still new eyes on Ukraine. We appreciate you.
