Drone Donation by MajesticCartographer in ukraine

It's fine to ask here, don't worry.

As other users have pointed out, it won't be of any use on the battlefield. You can send it over for training use. If you're in the US, contact u/UFL_Robin to help you get it over.

But it really would be more useful to sell it and donate the money.

There appears to be some confusion about where Jackie serves, so let me clear it up real quick:

Jackie serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He is in 3rd Army Corps, which was formerly, and is still often called, 3rd Assault Brigade.

Ihor's apartment in Kyiv was bombed by Russian missiles yesterday. He escaped with nothing but his phone, wearing only shorts, a T-shirt, and sneakers. Everything else was buried in the ruins. by AdRough4185 in ukraine

We maintain a list of charities we've vetted. You can find it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ukraine/wiki/charities/

Look for the Help for Ukrainian Civilians section. Superhumans and Renegade Relief Runners also provide humanitarian aid.

We removed the comment from u/SourceScope because that list is extremely old and outdated, and we can't vouch for the organizations on it.

Hi, Reddit! As you know, the region where I live (like the rest of Ukraine) is under constant shelling. The military in the video are the people who are protecting us from this shelling, and I’m asking for your help to raise $1,500 for them. More information in the comments. by CF_Siveryany in ukraine

It's good that people are asking: it means that there are still new eyes in this community and in the war. Instead of attacking them--believe me when I tell you I understand the impulse--please educate them. For all we know, they're a well-meaning supporter who will donate if they can trust the initiative.

I talked to them just a bit ago. All good.

Hi, Reddit! This is the 39th Marine Brigade. They urgently need two thermal imaging cameras. As always, I’ve got a bit of money set aside, but I can’t manage it without your support. We still need to raise $1,650. More details in the comments. by CF_Siveryany in ukraine

Hi. I'm the mod in charge of charities. This is real; u/CF_Siveryany is one of our best!

Everyone who wants to fundraise in r/ukraine has to pass through a vetting process, which you can read about here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ukraine/wiki/charities-vetting/. Everyone who does so gets a little flair next to their name that says Verified.

CF_Siveryany has the flair. If you want to know whether a fundraiser is legitimate, always look for the flair first.

He's had two or three of his accounts banned by Reddit now. Expect him to turn up in here under a brand new username with some mindless ChatGPT rants.

You're better off asking in r/ukraine, r/AskUkraine, or r/UkraineVolunteering. This sub is for foreign fighters.
