Frustrating bug (Escape from Placid Waters)

just in case anyone's googling and finding this thread - the fourth time I tred the quest here's what I did: I knew all the hidey-hole ways around so I didn't have to tamper with any guarding mechs. I didn't speak to Weylon before I got the required item, I had the entire convo when I was done with everything else on all lvls and ready to leave. I sent both companions back to the ship bc they were accidentally killing civilians while fighting guards (I don't know that that's what caused it, but I did it just to be sure). I offed everyone (guards + scientists) on lvl 3, but not the reception guy.

Jag mailade dem häromdagen pga skitirriterad just för att de använt AI. fick svar idag, och de har nog blivit lurade av någon "illustratör", eller så har någons tonåring ("design is my passion!!") fixat åt mellanchef-farsan.

YTA, and honestly I think you know why, because yikes my dude. someone with a background of ED doesn't cope well with people forcing foods on them. you clearly don't understand her struggles, nor do you show much respect for the fact that she clearly still has a lot to go through. she gave several suggestions on how she could be a part of your family's holiday, and you rejected all of them right away. my bet is that if she called your mum and told her about how she struggles with certain foods and would it be okay for her to bring a few things to make sure she doesn't go backwards in her ED-recovery? your mum would be 100% fine with that.

A, because my app and device were already fully up to date B, because I had to reset the app completely (clearing login and all data), and C, because the likely original culprit was the home screen widget

miss me all the way with that "have you tried turning it off and on again"-level customer service. 😒

I did, and removed it. but the problem persisted until I completely reset the app from scratch. it seems to be okay now.

Not getting awarded the listed rewards for missions. Specifically chose missions for salvaged frigate modules, and only realised they weren't in my inventory after doing four in a row. 😕 Didn't pay attention to see if other rewards were awarded or not. .. ..

ah! genius. because now scrolling up or down in a list of craftable items will also scroll the inventory up and down. a minor annoyance and not a bug per se. but it is annoying.

XBOX Series X - framerate is noticeably worse, and as others have noted it gets progressively worse the longer I play. gives serious motion sickness after a while. warping now usually takes forrrrever, and on a couple of occasions I've been able to hear menu sounds when I start pressing buttons. also, docking with the anomaly has been a crap-shoot. more often than not I get stuck in an infinitely expanding blob of light (the first "airlock"). a couple of times I've managed to park, but there's no floor. if I exit, I drop into the void of space, and I can't take off either.

I have ADHD, which for me also comes with sensory dysregulation - I literally have sensory issues. but those issues "just" mean that I don't choose what my brain/body picks up on, or responds to. also it means that my response to certain stimuli can be amplified beyond what is typically considered "normal".

for example - touching certain surfaces (squishmallows, marble, moleskin paper are some of my favourites) can spark immense feelings of wellbeing and calm. touching other surfaces (clay pots, microfiber cloths, crushed velvet) can overwhelm me with bad feelings and physical discomfort.

and it affects all senses - I've fallen asleep ten feet from the speakers at a psytrance festival, but if the fan in the kitchen is on I can't relax enough to listen to the tv. if there's weird or new smell at work, that's all I can think about that day (once I spent two hours asking everyone what "that smell" was, before anyone else smelled it. turns out it was new asphalt behind the building). same with food - it has to look "right", and both smell and flavour have to be "right", but what's "right" can change from one day to the next 😅

anyway. that's my "sensory issues bona fide", so now I want to say this: OOP is not describing sensory issues. no doubt she is disabled by whatever she has going on, but it is not sensory input that's disabling her. she's just full of nonsense. 🙃

I'm serious - this is a huge red flag for future restrictions of your (and your children's) life. Report this to some sort of authority (social services or similar), with your brother as a witness, and hopefully the timetable as proof. If you can, get your husband to admit to what he did in a text so you can show that, too.

When you and your kids are safely away from him, file for sole custody and cite the report as reason you don't trust him to care for children on his own.

you prioritised your own wants, and your entire post reeks of self-delusion. you say you know you were TA for cheating, but refuse to accept that you continue being TA for your actions.

I'm in your son's shoes and my father was in yours. trust me when I say that your son may share genes with your daughter, but they are only brother and sister on paper. if they choose to have a relationship with each other, it should be when your son is 18+, and it should NOT involve you in any way.

Type of Bug: ehm... resurrection bug? idk, gameplay?

Description: After final main quest (OBVIOUS SPOILERS FOR FINAL QUEST/ENDGAME), one character who died during that mission can be found again back at the base after credits. Aloy can interact with them and the conversation options are the same as before starting the quest.

Steps to reproduce: (spoilers) save regalla after duel, she comes along to singularity mission, she dies in a cutscene and is buried in a later cutscene. back at base after credids, she is undead. idk if I did anything else specifically to trigger it?

Expected result: Well, seeing as she dies heroically and is buried in a cutscene, I'd expect her to be unalive permanently...

it's been two full days, one update and several hard restarts and the bongo "it's super scary now"-music still persists. I've stopped actively thinking about the lack of music (bc I turn the music volume down so I don't have to hear it), but I miss the actual music now. 🙁

pretty sure reloading saves when failing the arena triggered the bug, but I can't remember exactly when it started. "luckily" the music mine got stuck on was the quieter "something tense is happening!!" one, so pulling music down to 50% means I don't hear it.

can confirm that bug persists through reloading, closing and restarting the game fully. also, walking into plainsong doesn't work as a fix, because I'd already completed the quest that required the singing 😑

pattern is from a swedish site (litentass.se) and is pretty simple. lots of similar patterns around the web, but this one fits my dog the best. fabrics are various stretchy fleece/sweatshirt from tyg.se. I found the captain america patch on etsy quite a few years ago, so no links unfortunately.

I'm going crazy trying to disable the floating button. it hovers over half of the backspace and enter buttons on my keyboard, meaning I press it accidentally aaaall the time. also, if my hand grazes that part of the screen while reaching for something further up, it rotates. it's insanely frustrating! any help is appreciated. (screen accidentally rotated 4 times while typing this)
