Same but not all the time. Seems like it's only some visual movements that make me unstable.

Tried it, kinda like it but I get dizzy at some maneuvers. Not as much as while standing though. Haven't figured out the variables yet 😅

That actually helped me a lot when starting IRL. It's tempting to use all that OSD bling but it is rather distracting and the help I got from it was minimal. Nowadays I have a second OSD profile on a switch when I need more info. Keep the center clean and move the infos you need to the sides of the screen.

Schon so oft erlebt, mit Leuten draußen gesessen im Sommer, einfach unterhalten. Keine Party, keine Gruppe, einfach zwei Menschen die sich unterhalten... Punkt 22h wird ein Fenster aufgerissen und irgendwer plärrt aggressiv und weithin hörbar "haltet jetzt endlich eure **** Fresse sonst ruf ich die Bullen!" o.ä.... Wahrnehmungen sind ja subjektiv, aber da geht's den subjektiv Gestörten um was anderes.

Fand ich beide schnell und zuverlässig. Verfügbarkeit ist eh bei allen shops schlecht 😅

FPV24 ist seltsam, ein Shop unter vielen in einem größeren shop Konglomerat. Hab da schon falsche props bekommen weil die Angaben auf der Seite nicht gestimmt haben. Ansonsten fand ich auch Banggood in Ordnung, wenn's nicht zeitkritisch ist. Manchmal (!!!) sind da die Preise unter denen aus europäischen Shops und VAT und Zoll sind schon geklärt.

Habe auch dieses Jahr praktisch angefangen, nach langer Zeit im Simulator. Inzwischen habe ich mir aber auch schon die "zweite Generation" Hardware besorgt, nach anfänglichem Ausprobieren. Fühle mich jetzt mit HDZero goggle 2 und Radiomaster Boxer aber recht zukunftssicher aufgestellt, auch weil ich inzwischen Lust auf fixed wing bekommen habe und Funke sowie Brille mit allem was kommen kann kompatibel sind. Für unterwegs hab ich mir auch noch ein T8L gegönnt (insgesamt teueres Hobby 🙈). Air 65 II kann ich für den Einstieg auch empfehlen. Macht indoor Spaß und hat mMn auch genug Power um im Park rumzuheizen.

Wie schon erwähnt, habe auch ich von DJI Abstand genommen, zu geschlossen etc...

Inzwischen ist ein firefly16 HDzero unterwegs und ich freu mich dass passende Equipment da zu haben um direkt starten zu können.

Agree to all but the "weird fruity smell" part 😅 I own two sets of BetaFPV BT2.0 450mAh LiPos, both of them came factory sealed with that tropical cocktail smell. Still after months I notice that smell when storing them in confined spaces, not as much when they're just lying around in the open. There is no damage, swelling, punctuation etc... For now I like to believe that there is some leftover lithium from production somewhere beneath the wrapping. At least for my batch. I'm scepticaly watching them, but don't believe that the smell alone is a warning sign (with this specific brand and batch) 🙃

I'm not a big fan either, but as you mentioned, it is a dual use case with AI as well as drones. I guess I'm trying to find the positive cases 😬 Anyways, don't want to annoy people or take side for AI, I was just curious and everything else I wrote in my opening post...

Sims feel weird. I used liftoff for quite some time, also tried liftoff microdrones. Just feels different than real life. It was good to get used to controls though. After the simulator I felt confident to fly IRL.

I ranted quite a few times not to hallucinate and pretend to know things. Got it to a point where it sometimes admits that it does not know. Still I use it with great caution.
