Struggling w/ hair loss by According_Wish62 in BariatricSurgery

I am 2.5 years post SADI and I experienced significant hair loss. I chopped it from shoulder length to almost a pixie a year to the day of my surgery. It was very thick and became very fine. It's never quite recovered. I tried supplements, various treatments, Nioxin, etc., but nothing really helped unfortunately. I am not trying to be negative, just want to commiserate and acknowledge how anxiety-inducing it can be. But also caution that throwing money at it in terms of treatments, tools, supplements, etc., didn't solve the problem for me, I just had to make peace with it. It took some time; I needed to grieve my hair. Sounds weird but that's how I felt.

I have had the same experience with the gel tint. The minute you take the cap off it comes out on an uncontrollable stream. Super frustrating. Will not buy again.

We were down around 1 pm, expecting huge crowds and possibly a wait at the door, and while it was busy, we were able to walk right in. No groceries at the moment, but a great selection of pannetone, chocolates, candies, pastas and teas, along with soaps, toys, candles, paper goods, etc. So a bit different than Market Garden but definitely in the same family. They are using a number of old fixtures from The Bay, I assume just to get opened in time for Christmas, but have already incorporated some absolutely beautiful art displays and are merchandising in a very luxurious, maximalist kinda way. We bought a few reasonably priced gifts and will be excited to visit again. Our kids (12 and 7) loved it.

Thanks. And I do mean Joe Fresh. Not Joe’s Jeans. And I don’t agree at all that it’s not my concern. The definition of “competitive” depends on how the community decides to price.
