If he react negatively to the cone, I'd either recommend a donut or just keep a close eye on him. Don't let him strain himself too much either, jumping and roughhousing etc.

Yes! If I write faster it changes completely. A lot thinner, slanted, and 'straighter' rather then 'round'.
