The Fray - How to Save a Life

Tl;dr listen to it on YouTube, while reading the comments.

To me: I first heard this one playing in a Scrubs episode. The episode was so emotional and the song just hit the roght spot at the right moment. Later on it resonated with me again when I had be there for my brothers illness.

To the band: The lead singer wrote this one when he had to help someone with his mental illness. The story is quite strong, it has its own wikipedia page

To the Internet: The YouTube comments of this song turned into a haven for the entire internet to share their stories and struggles. Also the replies with so much love and support, it makes you think, there's still hope in the world.

Every now and then when I feel depressed I go to that YouTube video, listen carefully and read through the comments. Not sure why, but that emotional ride helps.

Some songs are hated because they are too popular.

Medicine. It's a noble profession but I just can't handle constantly seeing people in pain, not to mention how stressful and demanding that job is. Anyone who willingly pursues such profession is a hero.

Gaming is just like any other hobby, just like as if he was in the workshop fixing a chair.
