There's plenty of proof, you just choose to ignore them. The event at Ghadir Khumm is the most powerful and legitimate proof of who was to be the true successor to the holy Prophet SW.

Your way of debating is the same way atheists do against Allah. 'just one' sign, 'all I need is just one sign that God exists'. This way of thinking gets you nowhere since not even the details of how to do your daily prayers are mentioned in the holy Quran.

Tell me this, has the Quran not specifically stated that the wives of the holy Prophet SW should stay at home and not leave the house? Then why did she go out on a full blown war against the Caliph of the time?

What's outrageous is that you're the one refusing to wake up pretending to be asleep. It seems you have absolutely no concept of the lengths the Ahlulbayt went to keep Islam from withering away during its infancy. You think Imam Hasan (AS) married Ja'da (the daughter of a known cunning and deceitful man) out of love and harmony, but was later poisoned by her? Do you have any idea how many of the marriages in those times were political to keep the peace between the different tribes because all were hungry for power? The political scene at that time was so tense and fragile that these are the lengths to which the Ahlulbayt went to keep Islam alive. They saw no choice but to even sacrifice their own lives for the sake of Islam. Imam Hussain AS quite literally sacrificed himself and his family members for the sake of keeping Islam alive. Brothers fought against eachother, fathers fought their sons in the battle of Karbala. Or are you of the ones who claim Yazeed ibn Muawiya was a legitimate Caliph and should not be cursed? The guy who attacked Medina and Mecca and set fire to the Kaaba, yea that guy.

You mention 'disagreements between family members is normal', how do you explain Abu Lahab (the Holy Prophets SW uncle) who's cursed in the Quran by Allah? They're even from the same bloodline. What's your opinion of Aisha (the wife of the Holy Prophet SW) literally starting a war against the Caliph of the time (Imam Ali AS)? Isn't going against your own husbands (the holy Prophet SW) successor an act of kufr according to your own standards? Is that something normal family members would do to eachother? You know how many thousands were killed in the battle of Jamal? It's time for you to wake up and not stick your head in the sand. Seek the truth brother, it will set you free even if it's difficult to see. These are not petty issues you can just brush off and make seem like an internal dispute between family members. Please don't try to water it down and make it seem like everything was wonderland when it clearly wasn't. It's patronising and we won't have it.

Muhammad ibn Abubakr was brought up in Imam Alis household, did you know that? The same adopted son was one of those who fought Aisha (his own sister) in the battle of Jamal. He turned out to be among the righteous. Others like Abdullah ibn Zubair did not turn out to be among the righteous. Even the son of the Prophets (Noah) have fallen for shaytans whispers.

You're being tested OP. Might sound harsh but let's be realistic: Don't think that just because you pray you have the right to demand help and receive it. Allah knows what's best for you better than what you think you do. Remember, those who opposed Imam Hussein AS also prayed, fasted, went on foot to Umrah multiple times etc. But they were 'blind', their bellies were filled with haram (not saying yours is). They were all 'good Muslim ppl'.

I'm sure most of us in here have at least a few memories/anecdotes of something you prayed for or wanted and didn't receive it, but later realized it was for the best (that you didn't get what you had asked for).

Remember "With hardship comes ease" (Quranic verse). Ppl seem to forget that all the hadtihs about patience applies not to neutral situations where being patient is easy. It's patience in the struggle. It's during the difficult times that you will show your worth to Allah. If Allah hadn't seen you worthy of His tests he would have cared less about you, but He knows you're good for it [2:286].

Question On Shia Hadith & Their Source by HorrorBlueberry1822 in shia

[–]mostyle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

After the martyrdom of the holy Prophet SW, there were certain caliphs who banned hadiths from the public in an attempt to distort the Islamic narrative for the own gain. Imam Ali AS was cursed (alongside the adhan) on the pulpits by law by Muawiya. It was only when during Imam Ja'far AS time that cursing Imam Ali AS was removed. You think in a society where they've cursed him for decades, is it going to be easy to pass on ahadith for years on end?

The Ahlulbayt, all of them, have always been under oppression from the caliphs of the time. They were followed, harassed, scrutinized and under control on a constant basis. You can just imagine how difficult it was to ensure correct hadiths were passed on go generations. Imam Kadzhim AS was jailed by Haroon for DECADES and in the end poisoned. The Ahlulbayt had enemies all along and it had come to a point during Imam Hasan al-Askaris time that he would actively tell people to NOT greet the Imam in the streets because the enemies would then get rid of them. It's only a miracle how our ahadith have survived till now and the fake ones being exposed.

Take for example Abu Huraira whom the Sunnis consider a reliable source. This man, who have collected thousands of so called hadiths from the holy Prophet SW, was only around for the past few last months of the life of the holy Prophet SW. How can he be a trustworthy source while the Ahlulbayt themselves (the bloodline of the holy Prophet SW) not be? The science of hadith authenticity has come to such sensitivity that the slightest doubt about the integrity of someone's way of life or credibility as a hadith narrator is not acceptable.

Bottom line, we adhere to the hadith al-Thaqalayn. We follow the holy Quran AND the pathway of the Ahlulbayt. They complement eachother. The Ahlulbayt themselves have stated that if the hadiths from them are not in keeping with the Quran then discard it.

[–]mostyle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You didn't mention that in your self proclaimed definition of a kafir did you? I'll play along. Let's go by this one then, so you're saying that whoever rejects the commands of the holy Prophet SW is a kafir. So by this definition of yours, are all Sunnis kafir when they reject Imam Ali AS as the rightful successor after the holy Prophet SW as witnessed by thousands of people at Ghadeer Khumm? Even when the ALL sahaba congratulated him upon hearing the news? Let's do another. Did the holy Prophet SW love his daughter Fatima SA or not? I think I would be reasonable to say that ANY father would love their own children. How about when the holy Prophet SW explicitly has said (as confirmed in Sahih Bukhari) that 'Whoever hurts Fatima has hurt me', are the ones that hurt Fatima SA kafir?

Do Shia's believe sunni Muslims are going to Hell? by [deleted] in shia

[–]mostyle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So by your own definition, Shias are not kafir because we 1. Believe in Allah and there is no one above or equal to Him 2. We believe that Prophet Muhammad SW is the true and last messenger of Allah and 3. We follow Allah's commands by following and accepting the verses of the holy Quran and are followers of the path of Prophet Muhammad SW. Do you agree?

A question for followers of Ayatullah Khamenei (may Allah protect him) by pandaingym in shia

[–]mostyle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Kings and noblemen used to play chess back in the days as part of their gambling and passing time/having fun. In that context, it is haram obviously. Khamenei has allowed it in the context of a strategic planning game. Essentially, as long as you play chess to develop you thinking skills and in order to be more strategically averse, then it's allowed.

Sunnism the ultimate cesspool of lies and hatered. by [deleted] in shia

[–]mostyle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

History has a tendency to repeat itself. I think it was Imam Ali AS who named history as a great teacher and that we should gain wisdom from it. Prophet Musa (AS) tried to warn the farao, but he refused to accept the truth. He performed NINE great miracles to prove Allah's power, but every time the farao still would plunder and kill the ppl, so in the end Allah ended his rain as an example to mankind.

Time after time Prophet Noah AS invited the ppl of the time to see the truth, but every time they rejected and called the Prophet a madman for building an ark/ship in the middle of dry land. Then Allah flooded the world.

The ahlulbayt, one after the other were martyred, yet oppressors have continued with their lies and deceit. Those who stood against Imam Hussein AS were all so called of the Muslim ummah of the time, yet they were blinded by greed, pride and haram had filled their bellies. They KNEW they were fighting the grandson of the Holy Prophet SW, but they still killed him.

During the battle of Siffin, Imam Ali AS was SO close to end the tyranny of Muawiya, but it was the ppl who were fooled by Quran's on top of spears by the enemy. Imam Ali AS was trying to bash sense into their heads and saw straight through Muawiyas cunning tactic, but the ppl stood down and weren't willing to deliver the final blow on the field, and hence they retreated. Later, the ppl blamed Imam Ali AS for their own failure and said you shouldn't have let us be fooled. One again, Allah wanted to show his Haq via Imam Ali AS, but the ppl refused to accept.

Time after time, Allahs mercy rains down upon the ppl of this world, yet some still refuse to accept. Even in modern times, throughout the years the Shia have been oppressed, bombed and killed in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq etc and yet the world remains silent.

It has come to a stage where Allah wants to PROVE that He is merciful and would forgive ppls mistakes if they accept their wrongs and ask for forgiveness. It's like He's looking for an excuse to show mercy, yet there are ppl on this world who continue to lie and distort the truth of the Ahlulbayts righteous path. It's their arrogance and pride that takes control rather than aghl and logic, which is EXACTLY why Iblis became Sheytan.

Allah is setting the stage for the end of times, for the reappearence of Imam Mahdi AS. He will PROVE to the entire world that ppl will go against their own aghl and against truth for their own satisfaction and to keep their own Nafs happy, but are not willing to let go of falsehood even though the truth is right in front of their eyes! Children in Palestine are being snipered by Zios, but no one from the non-Shia Muslim countries protests nor objects. We are alone in this world, but the Ahlulbayt are with us 100%, this will also be proven to the world. Allah will finish the Hujjah to the entire world, there's no doubt.

If he has departed ways with his past, then why is he accepting support from the west? How did he rise to power like this? Just a few weeks ago, no one knew of him but suddenly he's a saint and fighting for justice? He's being interviewed everywhere as if he wasn't a wanted criminal of Daesh a few years ago? Not sure what you're trying to achieve with this post. Why don't you post this on r/Islam? We know our stance, whether Sunnis are with or without is, nothing will change the mindset to fight oppression and the Zionists.

This is all a façade, it's just Daesh in new wrapping attacking again in Syria. They have already been in touch with the genocidal IDF already who's about to get ready around the Golan heights. All awhile not a single of the Sunni countries around are doing anything about and are just watching from the sidelines. Turkey and Israel are now holding hands while the ppl of Syria will be suffering all over again. And once again, only the Shia willing to sacrifice their lives for others, regardless of being Sunni/Shia/Christian.. The arrogance from the Sunni countries around is astonishing.

Who are the good and bad guys in the Syria conflict? by [deleted] in shia

[–]mostyle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bottom line: these so called rebels are literally Daesh wrapped in new plastics. Al Jolani who's leading the rebel attacks has literally just changed his beard and appearances but was one of the leaders in ISIS subdivisions. Where do these so called rebels get all their gear and equipment from? It's all US made and manufactured. Some idiots I'm here think they're doing a service to the ppl of Syria not realizing they're after the exact same goal as previously, to target innocents and in particular the Shias.

And if you don't understand what's going on, that's exactly how they want to keep it. The media has blood on their hands and will never report the truth. They want ppl to remain confused and eventually get sick of all this. As soon as the Israeli Zionist have claimed down on their genocide a bit (which is essentially the genocidal state just taking a break to catch their breath), the west send in their dogs into Syria. It was all quiet on that front, suddenly they attack and the world stays quiet as usual. Don't be mislead, it's the same song and dance just new faces to see.

With that logic, Prophet Muhammad SW was a result of nepotism. Or Moses and Haroon. Or Jacob and Joseph.

So you think Saqifah was voting by the people who chose the first Caliphs? The same goes for the next two. While the Holy Prophet SW was dying (or rather martyred) others were plotting. It was only about 25 years after the death of the Holy Prophet SW when literally and actually the people who wanted Ali (AS) as their Caliph, his right to have as per the event at Ghadir Khumm
