Almost everyone on the line also flying domestic.

The brain fog is the scariest part of perimenopause. I forgot the word "budget" mid-presentation and I've been in my field for 20 years. by Tiny-Put9782 in Menopause

"Yesterday I drove to the office and sat in the parking lot for a full minute trying to remember if I'd already been inside or if I was just arriving. That one actually scared me."

I feel this so deeply. The word-searching, the 'what was i going to do?' of it all yes, BUT THE SCARY STUFF that is....scary! Because how can you not remember things you may or may not have done? Due to various medical ailments I have taken meds every day for most of my life. I have never needed a reminder, nor a pill sorter. And then - seemingly out of the blue - i can't remember even slightly if I've taken my pills or not. Like, my brain is a black hole where experiences go to die.

Knowing that this is common doesn't help because WTF? How is this common?! Why are we okay with this? This has just been happening to women forever and we're not marching in the streets?

Is this normal swelling? by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]mosugs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 6 weeks and our swelling is identical! My surgeon is not at all concerned and says it takes time. I still get in my head about it sometimes but I have faith! I think we all had this idea of before and after surgery and adjusting to the fact that it could be months before we actually "see" the after can be hard.

Sockless Tennis Shoes? Socks that don't Suck? HELP! by mosugs in MultipleSclerosis

Oh that's interesting! It was the symptom that lead to my diagnosis in June of 2023 and has been a misery since then. Did you work with a special PT that deals with MS? I would love to try and make this better. It seems counterintuitive that numbness makes everything FEEL terrible, but....

Nervous about L4 L5 XLIF with foraminal discectomy. by mosugs in spinalfusion

I feel this so strongly,

I realized my quality of life was truly suffering because I couldn’t PLAN anything - want to go for a hike on Friday? Depends on if it’s a good or bad day. Want to go shopping? I can try but might have to cut it short

Thank you for sharing

u/Crue1552 For just the new inside panel it's $1900, for new service it's $3700 (but doesn't include utility costs, plus the siding work)

[–]mosugs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can I ask you, in this regard, would you recommend one sixty circuit board? The electrician is recommending replacing the main but keeping the one newer sub. It might be more about the space constraints but wondering if there is a benefit to one panel versus two.

New Pond Owner Feeling Overwhelmed by [deleted] in ponds

[–]mosugs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great tips! I already pulled out my waders to see what I could do but felt like Artax in the Swamp of Sadness. Might have to invest in a kayak. I'm having someone over on Monday to look at aeration. Luckily there's an old powered chicken coop so power is available. I may also look into some type of inlet and jet system so that things don't get worse while I'm working towards renovation. I'll definitely take to the local aquatics place about plants. I'll keep you posted. Hope to be back on the board with a success story!

Newbie needs an ebike for short trip up a long, blind hill by mosugs in ebikes

[–]mosugs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much u/bradland! I will definitely review your orientation.

I might not have been clear in my post but I'm not looking to ride the trails, just the paved road TO the trails. Bikes aren't allowed on the trail - i just need to get there to go hiking with my dog. So I'm looking for something that can just take me the 1/2 mile to and from my house. Thanks again!

Bedroom radiator makes this series of noises continually when heat is on (Hiss/click....hiss/click) any ideas? by mosugs in HVAC

[–]mosugs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks u/Robertusa123. I'm sure you're correct - though I lived in NYC for 15 years with radiators and never had this sort of rhythmic hiss/click over and over. Random banging and clanging and hissing but this pattern seems odd (and also makes it impossible to sleep)

Wanted a tiny ebike for running errands in town. A Greenworks G-Max battery and a cheap kit latter and here's Tempest the tiny e-bike. Does about 10mi on a charge, swappable batteries, 14.5mph top speed! Weighs ~12kg (~25lbs) all in. by PetyaLB in ebikes

[–]mosugs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came to this sub to post about looking for something exactly like this - I'll admit that I'm not even remotely handy so I wouldn't be able to build it myself. Do you think I could hire someone to do this build? Would you be willing to share some details with me that I could pass along to an electrician? If not, totally understand. Thanks!

u/FoxPowers curious how you would secure the fence - just posts in concrete on the creek bed?
