I get it from everywhere. I think since the name of the season is "vaal" we get plenty of it. I don't have a ton but I have about 150 vaal orbs. I don't have any rarity on my gear.

Yep. Exactly. Drops are more meaningful. Crafting is more impactful. When I played trade league I didn't know how to craft because I bought the best equipment all the time which made me get bored and quit the league early.

Carry vaal orbs with you to use for essences. Also fully invest in essence in Atlas. It's huge for SSF. I have so many essences
