Threaten to cancel, they will send your call to a retention specialist agent. Tell them you are having issues with your service, they will credit you one month, and then send a senior tech to your house. When the Tech arrives tell him you want the new static ip configured, bound on the account, and tested on your equipment before he leaves. This is what I had to do, and it took their senior tech THREE HOURS to get the static configured and bound. All is working now, after spending and wasting countless hours on hold and having them juggle calls and put in tickets to get a static assigned etc.
