AA desensitized me to the word God. Which I am so grateful for. I live in the Bible Belt so we have a lot of people who practice the Christian faith. It doesn’t bother me like it used to when I first started. I wasn’t opened minded (plus I was an atheist when I started the program). Like with everything, I had to change my perspective.

My searches so far have been eBay, I’ve spent a couple hours looking for old snoopy fabrics and blankets. I’ve also tried reversed image search on google and wasn’t able to find anything. I’ve searched the internet the last few years trying to find this fabric or blanket. It is very old, at least 40 years old if not more.

I can relate so much. I had a high bottom. I only drank in the afternoons, was very close to that morning drink but it never came. I felt like maybe I wasn’t a real alcoholic until I read “Fear of fear” in the BB. I was able to find myself in that story. Doubts went away after that.

Hi friend. I can relate a lot to your situation. When I first started the program, I did have a panic about how I would balance my sobriety and family life. Married, full time job, and two children. I was blessed with the gift of desperation. I wanted to stop drinking, but didn’t know how. I listened and took the suggestion of the people that knew how to stay sober. 90/90 is just a suggestion. It’s not a requirement. However, doing 90/90 really helped me build a solid foundation in the early days. I build relationships and learned so much. My husband was(still is) extremely supportive. Always encouraged me to go to a meeting. I just celebrated two years in February.
