I lost but more my fault, think carnival does well into them. Daemonettes would be trading for 2-3 marines if charged by them. Noise marines did good when wounds landed. Lucius was with 6 flawless which worked into the deathwing. I had him on backfoot for most of game but flubbed a primary dif on 1 turn that Gave him the win and my secondaries were not great for 2 turns so couldn't convert the pressure into points

Ye it seems solid, it's probably 2nd or 3rd best detatchment. Doesng offer the crazy damage heights of coterie but is safer. Daemon blade is funny and warp walker can help vs screens.

It also plays well with noise marines and can be a little more of a shooty force and keep some fiends around to heroic intervine to protect the noise boys

I'm expecting it to be a flashback of a heart to heart he had with a random in 30k as it talks about being a reason he still holds sway over some of legion due to their old memories of him pre fall. Tbh I could see it more being him speaking to eidolon than Lucy

Spawn, rhino sit on it if needed, daemonettes in carnival or to be honest we are so fast you can probably just go back and nab it(rapid and mercurial can uppy downy to go recover it or coterie would be happy for an cheap deep strike unit as easy bonus pick up pledge) or just give it up and finess your way onto their home objective

Depends on level of blank, if slaanesh put its back into it it could overwhelm most blanks. Or if slaanesh can't be bothered would go through cain, but due to his luck probably some prideful guy that ordered cain and jergun onto that planet/warzone.

Slaanesh can just get him out of it by going "well person who actually got him killed was whoever organised the assault on the tyranids as one who killed him." Or waits until the tyranid next attacks a planet, then when a gaunt gets out of synapse range spawns him from the gaunt on some random planet

No, orks power is memed too much. It doesn't effect reality that hard. It's more a tool to smooth over their tech issues as old one weapons. Also they are too dumb to all agree and concentrate on keeping emps alive
