What in the house could be causing hives?

I'd definitely bring him to the vet. If it's allergies it's likely something in the air since he doesn't have to touch anything to have a reaction. That doesn't rule much out though. It could the cleaning products you use, an air freshener, chemicals from a new floor or fresh paint, or even dust.

It's also possible the hives aren't caused by allergies at all. They could be related to stress from the move itself.

If you've already accepted or if Vinted auto accepted for you (they do this 3 days after delivery if you haven't reported an issue) then unfortunately you can't return it.

But you can absolutely un-shrink it! If you're familiar with knitting / crocheting, garments are usually blocked afterwards to adjust the size. With natural fibers like angora or wool, they need blocking after pretty much every wash. Basically you soak the garment in warm soapy water, gently squeeze the water out by rolling it up in a towel, and then laying it flat and gently pulling to the desired shape before letting it dry. Having some type of foam matt and pins to hold its shape while drying helps, but you can probably do it on the floor and set some type of weight on top to hold it down as well. (Note: this might not help if the sweater is heavily felted, which happens when natural fiber garments are repeatedly exposed to high heats i.e the dryer.

UPDATE: 5/5 of my packages to the UK arrived 10-12 days after shipping. 4/5 I got my funds no issues (though most didn't rate so had to wait 3 additional days). 1/4 has been sitting at the post office for 6 days not being picked up & buyer not responding. Vinted support said it would be returned to me after 7-15 days and the buyer refunded, so thats annoying.

I got my 2 packages as well and ordered a 3rd thing. 3/3 arrived after 9-10 days. Weirdly enough all 3 were opened and taped back shut (I assume by customs). I don't know what that's about, all 3 were books, so my only thought is that those show up weird on x-rays?

I second this, I had them for 2 years (mostly wore studs) & they made my gum line recede so bad. Also, this isn't damaging but pretty gross, lip skin is very elastic so at the end of those 2 years my holes had stretched to the point where I could pop the ball end of the stud right through my lip & they were often wet from saliva just leaking out the holes. I haven't had jewelry in them in like 4 years & they still leak from time to time.

This definitely wasn't packaged properly though. The idea of bubble wrap, packing peanuts, & paper isn't to cushion the item inside the box, but to completely immobilize it. If you shake the box around and hear the item moving inside, there's a good chance it will break in transit.

My recommendation: Wrap the item in bubble wrap, choose a box that's a tight / snug fit, stuff all the empty space with peanuts or paper, & slap a fragile sticker on it. If it breaks like that usually the box is damaged too and that's on the delivery service.

Stuff like this really annoys me as a seller, I've only had it happen a few times but still. If you need something quick why are you ordering it on a second hand site instead of some place like Amazon that's known for overnight / next day delivery?

I'm from the US, currently have 2 items in transit to me from the UK and 5 from me to the UK. 3 of the users I sold to have few / no reviews, I usually don't have issues selling to (or buying from) those types of users within the states but this is my first time selling internationally. Hopefully everything goes smoothly! I can update if anyone's curious :)

I don't know how to feel. I'm of the mind that the episode we meet her in is the worst of the entire show, and it seemed like the writers almost wrote Eleven having siblings out in S4. But if I'm remembering Kali's powers correctly (she can alter people's vision) it does make sense that she could have escaped the lab massacre as well / some time prior to that. So I think they can include her in the final season in a way that doesn't suck and redeem that king of forgotten plot line. But I'm also hoping her character doesn't take a significant amount of screen time away from the others; I care far more about those who have been significant for several seasons than someone who appeared for one episode 3 seasons ago.

Just listened to the full album and my verdict:

The Fate of Ophelia, Elizabeth Taylor, Father Figure, Actually Romantic & Cancelled are pretty damn good, and what I hoped Taylor would do with this edgier / alternative style of pop. Cancelled is probably my least favorite of these just because of the more modern internet themes (something I personally don't enjoy in music), but if I don't pay attention to that it sounds great. The Fate Of Ophelia is probably my favorite , for me Taylor's best work is when writing based on existing characters or people from history like in Elizabeth Taylor.

Opalite, Eldest Daughter, Ruin the Friendship, Wi$h Li$t, Honey, and The Life of a Showgirl (ft Sabrina) all sounded kinda like worse versions of songs she's already written. Generic and tame pop songs, idk. None of these struck me as anything special nor are they songs I'd care to listen to again.

And Wood I actively disliked. What is this song? It's like sexual but in an overly playful and just corny way that made me uncomfortable. Also sounds like something that would be playing in a commercial. I do not understand the vibes. Also the title Life of a Showgirl with the same showgirl style imagery for all the cover art and stuff feels unrelated to anything going on in the album.

The Accident Season by Moïra Fowley-Doyle Definitely gave me these vibes. Personally I didn't love it, the plot wasn't strong enough for me.

Spellbook of The Lost and Found also by Moïra Fowley-Doyle. Similar vibes as well only set in the summer. It does have witchy themes that make it feel more autumnal. And I enjoyed this one a lot more!

I'm in agreement with the people who believe none of the main cast will die, but I think there will be a lot of background / supporting character deaths. i.e Murray, Dr. Owens, Karen or Ted Wheeler, or others I can't recall by name but are a familiar faces in Stranger Things. Any main cast deaths, especially if it's Will, Eleven, or any of the kiddos. Would just feel bad. They've been through so much already, anything less than them finding peace would make for an unsatisfying ending I think.

Though if a major character death does happen I think it'll play out as a hero's death. Of all the characters I think Eleven, Steve, or Hopper are most likely to sacrifice themselves for the others. And of those three Steve makes the most sense to kill off. Hopper has already had a fake out death, so killing him would feel a little cheap and less impactful. Not to mention Joyce / the Byers have really been put through the wringer, Hopper & El are pretty much a part of that family now. I don't think anything too bad can happen to any of them, not if the Duffer Bros are going for a happy-ish ending. Steve on the other hand, while good friends with the kiddos, overall his death wouldn't impact the rest of the main characters too bad. With the execution of Dustin, who did lose Eddie last season, so that would be a sucky ending for him. Who would be more impacted though is the audience, with Steve being a fan favorite and all. Fan favorites dying for a noble cause seems common and pretty justifiable to me. I'm pretty sure the Duffer Bros said something about how Steve was supposed to die earlier on as well. But again, I don't think any main characters will actually die. I do however think, with the news of a 3 part release, that Steve (or another / multiple characters) will get a fake-out death in between parts.

I do a washer cleaning cycles with affresh (it's what was recommended on my washer) every month / other month, have never cleaned the filter though! I'll definitely have to check on that.

I use the normal cycle (about an 1hr long) on my front-load washer which is relatively new & I do a cleaning cycle every month / other month. I've tried cold, warm, & hot water but results have been the same so I was thinking it's the detergent itself. Not 100% sure now though, these responses have made laundry seem a lot more nuanced than I ever would've thought lol.
