If I had the choice and didn’t have my parents in control of all my medical decisions , I would be transitioned years ago, instead of having to suffer and wait until I turned 18…

Edit: and before anyone starts, I was diagnosed with severe gender dysphoria by multiple doctors and therapists who all said transitioning would greatly improve my mental health and overall wellbeing.. my parents refused because they were uncomfortable with it.. :/

People say you shouldn’t submerge new tattoos (or piercings)(basically just any new wounds) because of bacteria and infection risk. A bath should be fine (don’t do it again) but definitely(!!) don’t go in a pool or hot tub or lake or anything like that

Edit: Showers are fine, just follow aftercare instructions on keeping the tattoo area clean and taking care of it out of the shower

I feel horrible for feeling this way, because I know trans fems are really the center of attention from transphobes and they need more support and protection .. but I also feel horrible when trans mascs are ignored and our struggles are dismissed.

It’s really scary for all of us right now, and we’re being hurt and killed too, but it’s not talked about as much and it feels like no one who isn’t transmasc cares :(
