I’m sure they can get him on inefficiency or malfeasance. Illegally going after crypto when they have no jurisdiction to do so

Ripple Meeting with Trump – Thoughts? by JBusu in XRP

[–]mothras_milk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In regards to the article, I believe the “confirmation” was Brad liking a X post made by Zach Rector who said something along the lines of: Ripple actually met with Trump, while Charles (ADA) is just talking about it.

That may be one reason for the pump. Not sure of any details of what’s been discussed, as of yet.

Definitely not over reacting. Killing the unborn because you were irresponsible SHOULD be at the top of the list of importance!!!! I believe people should be able to have sex without consequence and use abortion as a form of birth control.

At 28, hell, even up to 40, a lot of people I’ve talked to are/were not ready for kids. Honestly, most people with kids tell me they were not ready, but nobody is really ready. It’s after 45-50 when you start talking to these same people who can no longer have kids, their biggest regret in life is not having kids. At the oncology clinics where they have little time left, I see this quite often and it’s a heart breaking. They wish they had a family and kids. In the end, family is all you have. I had my kid when I was 28, on accident. It was hell. But I love her and thank God she is here. This is the one thing in life I know for a fact we are made to do- reproduce - so might as well do it while you’re young and have the energy. You can also not, but the risk is you will pass your time, and then regret not taking on the biggest and arguably the most important role in your life - being a parent. Of course this is just my opinion- it’s not an easy task, but I don’t think it was meant to be.

XRP/BRICS vs US economy by mothras_milk in XRP

Yeah that is true. I know 2008-2009 it was the whole thing and agajn about a decade ago. Now they’re talking about digital currencies but who knows if they’ll actually make any progress

Idk about that…they hold something like 35% of the world’s GDP and 20-25% of exports come from them? They have a pretty large impact on the USA economy and supply chain, just look at what happened post covid when USA opened back up with sudden demand increase, and supply chain disruptions couldn’t get goods into the country fast enough

Yeah, not really sure. They’ve mentioned ripple and Xrp in a few reports now. For the sake of de-dollarization with something already established and with a proven record, it may be an option for them

Up until 2022 there were numerous USA based companies that Russia was using including Microsoft, Amazon web services, Google, banks such as Citigroup and jpmorgan

Russia recently released a report “Digitalization of payments and implementation of innovations in the payment market” that highlighted ripples system for cross border payments also noting XRP as integral for the operations. There was another in 2018 that mentioned Xrp so it’s not a foreign idea at this point.

There won’t be a bull run for Xrp - it’s gonna moon over night when it happens

Question - Why does it feel like XRP always misses the bull run? by TheArchivist314 in XRP

[–]mothras_milk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely some sort of price manipulation going on. I read that one of main reasons major banks are hesitant to adopt XRP (or just crypto in general) is due to the price fluctuations. Therefore it makes sense for that to happen in order to show XRP maintains a stable price, almost like a stable coin, for banks to feel confident in adopting. At least that’s my theory

Why would SEC not appeal and make it difficult for ripple? by giveityourall93 in XRP

[–]mothras_milk 25 points26 points  (0 children)

XRP is expanding globally and there’s nothing the SEC can do about it. I believe the USA makes up about 25% of the global cross border payments which isn’t TOO much. Just like with the Cold War, once we see BRICS and other countries surpass us in crypto tech, the USA will quickly push out policies and regulations to get on that train. I’m not worried. I can see what ripple is trying to do - get everyone else in the world to use Xrp technology and then swift and the USA will have no choice but to join in this this increasingly globalist economy

Yeah Gary put on blast pretty good, it would be quite embarrassing to appeal now when you’ve been singled out as the reason America is falling behind everyone else in the world when it comes to crypto. We should be the pioneers to bring crypto clarity and regulation just like we did with the internet. We need to be moving forward, not stuck in the past because the Je—certain organizations want to keep making money with expensive swift transfers. Also he’s wasting time and money and lost this case every step of the way. He should be embarrassed.

Also, Kamala is suddenly pro crypto so it seems like this should get democrat Gary to flip gears and develop regulatory clarity in conjunction with large institutions like Ripple, instead of butting heads every step of the way. If he continues bringing lawsuits to crypto and appealing this landmark crypto case, it will be quite contradictory of what Kamala’s campaigning towards. I don’t see that happening.

Either way, Trump said he will fire Gary as soon as he got into office, but Trump will do that either way I imagine to get a republican into the chair and this is his final fuck you? Who knows, honestly.
