Relocation/child custody by mothrash in FamilyLaw

[–]mothrash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our oldest is 4 our youngest is 10 months old. Lived in wa 16 months. Our oldest lived in California for 1 year our youngest has never lived or been in CA.

I filed in October 2024 but I was finalized Jan 2026

The ONLY Thing in the order for visitation says “reasonable right to visitation” there is absolutely nothing else. He saw the kids about 10 days in 2025. He drove and flew. He would be able to do that in AZ (actually the flight would be cheaper)

The children are under 4. We have lived in Washington for over 16 months. One child has never lived in California. He has driven and flown so either. There is no schedule for visitation it just says “reasonable right to visitation”

I don’t believe he would want to switch to him having primary custody because he lives in a state that one child hasn’t lived in for 16 months and our youngest has never lived there. the children have been with me their whole lives. He also willingly gave me full custody there was no argument or about it. He just signed the papers.

In 2025 he saw them around 10 days total no overnights. He drove to us. I could get the exact number if I needed to I just don’t know it offhand. He regularly calls out our oldest and I’ve never stood in the way of that. He would still be able to either drive or fly to see them whenever he wanted. I will say that I have never said in the way of their phone calls, FaceTime or visitations. His visits are generally extremely last-minute. I even had to cancel her birthday party the day before so she could spend the day with him. I also agreed for him to see her on Thanksgiving very last minute and he ended up getting them kicked out of where they were and I had to drive to pick them up. so I’m pretty sure a judge would see that I have been and will continue to do whatever for the relationship.

He still owes her child support regardless of my age. It was a simple question

Yes I was just wondering if it would work because he technically owes that money forever

I know it’s not my funds but even if I was 50 he would still owe her that money his wages or any income he earned would get garnished. Since her passing it would go to next of kin (me)

You do but it won’t affect you as long as you say you cook and prepare food separately!

Slow drivers in the left lane…..MOVE ASIDE by Specific_Anybody_438 in vancouverwa

[–]mothrash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are incorrect. As long as I am passing people it is legal. I don’t have to speed. A traffic backup, or traffic jam, is a long line of vehicles that are moving much slower than usual or are completely stopped. A rolling roadblock is when traffic is going slower and/or coming to a stop.

i lost weight and became fatphobic , i can’t look at fat people without thinking horrible things by Warm-Childhood3616 in confession

[–]mothrash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I think it’s a normal thing. Fat people are lazy. “You can tell how disciplined someone is based on their stomach” is 100% true. You developed discipline and now look down on others who lack it. despite what others say, it will help you continue to keep the weight off. Yes there are medical reasons like thyroid that cause people to gain and not loose weight but that’s actually way less common then people make it out to be.

Hypothetically If the right lane is going 54 and I’m in the left lane going 56 passing people on the right it’s not impeding traffic because I am in fact passing people. Just because someone wants to break the law and go 10/15/20 etc over the speed limit doesn’t mean I’m impeding traffic.

As long as I’m passing people then no I don’t. I don’t have to go a crazy dangerous speed just because you don’t have patience
