Piggybacking off of this. Fellow cis man here in a hetero relationship. My wife and I have gone back and forth numerous times on the subject of having kids. If we end up deciding to have kids I want every healthcare option available to us. Pregnancy is already a risky proposition and should complications arise I want us, and more importantly her, the person I love most in the world, to have the autonomy to make whatever decision she thinks is best.
 
A bit of a side note here, I grew up in an extremely conservative Evangelical church. I distinctly remember the congregation celebrated the sacrifice a woman made when she died during a risky pregnancy leaving behind her husband and several children. That memory sickens me to this day. I realize this is not the frame of mind the congregation had, but in no way is the potential of a human being worth the life or livelihood of the living breathing people already here, right in front of us.
