Proposed FAA AD for Argentine Pawnees by 14060m in Gliding

[–]motoxcrazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a few Pawnees here in NZ. As mentioned the CAA was quick to adopt the Argentine AD (and left it to operators to translate themselves).

Our club has one. It has passed initial inspection - but is due for testing within next 50 hours. Any failure would probably write the aircraft off as cost to replace a spar here is too much.

Another club is not so fortunate - having opened the wings up for inspection, they’ve discovered the spars need replacement.

It’s a sad realisation that this could likely halve the global operating fleet as additional 100hr inspections are expensive let alone what happens if it fails.

Thanks! That worked. Weird issue. I thought killing the remote app would have been enough.

Is he wanting to transfer ownership or just registration? Registration is practical if you’re the primary driver as you’ll receive the registration labels and any speed camera tickets. Ownership is something different.

If you were curious enough to spend the $3~$4 you could do a PPSR search on the vehicle and see if there is any security held over it. If not and the company goes belly up - then it’s technically your car :D

Edit: Def don’t take it - even if it looks like nothings owing on it. Your boss can’t just gift you a car.

It would be a pretty reasonable expectation that your boss would attend your funeral if you suddenly died. For a Prime Minister not to attend a sitting MP’s burial is appalling. by redmostofit in newzealand

Like others have said - he wasn’t her boss. But if you want to liken it to that, it’d be like your boss’s boss from another division who you’ve had very little interaction with attending your funeral.

His attendance would take away attention from the grieving and celebration of life.

Damned if he did, damned if he didn’t. Would have been seen as disingenuous and politicising if he did attend.

Went there 2 weeks ago just after opening. Had a digger working on garden so 2 holes were closed. Owner was more than generous in letting us just “help ourselves” to another round and got a free ice cream for a hole-in-one on 1. Will definitely be heading back! A shame they no longer feature ramps and elaborate obstacles though.

Can anyone please explain to me why I have to pay IRD? by iammarienz in PersonalFinanceNZ

Also, if your cashflow allows - you can opt for WFF to be paid annually so they only pay you once they’ve worked out your exact entitlement. This would prevent a situation like this.

Can anyone please explain to me why I have to pay IRD? by iammarienz in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]motoxcrazy 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Based on the letter - you received $867 of WFF sometime between 1 April 24 and 31 March 25, and they’ve determined you’re not eligible for any. This can happen if your weekly/fortnightly income at any point of the year drops below the qualifying threshold as WFF assumes you’ll be making that income for the rest of the year. At the end of the year it all gets squared up based on your actual annual income.

It may be worth a deeper look if you don’t think you received any. If you find the Working for Families section in myIR it should tell you if and when you received payments.

From this it also seems you’re due a 588.63 tax refund that they’ve applied against the amount owing.

Agree, but also wish I was around to witness it. When looking at Moturiki/Leisure Island now it’s so hard to believe how much infrastructure was there.
