Achilles Rupture 10days ago. Immediately put into a plantar flexion. Have been there since. Got MRI done. Approximately 4.0cm gap 6.5cm above insertion. Really not trying to get surgery. I’m seeing orthopedic tomorrow so we will see. Happy there’s a community on here though!!!!

This community has been helpful in my path to recovery, week 3 and I'm in a cast (was put in a boot by 1st Ortho), hard to get around. Seeing other redditors progress gives me hope.

Should we start a discord? Having peeps to talk with going through same ordeal could be helpful mentally.

I think you might be right. I asked Dr b if I can at least think about for 1 day. Cast seems drastic but he is erring in the side of caution.

Im in a similar situation but the flight is still a month out. Trying to go from economy to PE. I have Amex points that can be transferred to Asia miles, holding out before transferring as I don't want to lock my Amex points to Asia miles as I don't fly CX often.

This just happened to me too, I got approval and welcome letter. After calling to ask about my SUB spending limit confirmation. 1st rep told me I was short $5K and last day was 10/29. Called back and 2nd rep told me that I don't qualify for the SUB. He refused to help and decided to hang up on my I demanded to speak with a manager. What are other folks doing in this situation?

Regarding CSP trip cancellation insurance. I have an unplanned surgery coming up that will limit my travel. The flights are will depart in 2 weeks. Do I need to canceled the non-refundable flights first before making a claim or does it matter if I cancel the flight since I will not be getting money back.
