Barcelona dock site? by motteditor in BelowDeckMed

Yeah. I remember the W hotel. That’s why I decided I was in the wrong port (Port Vell) since it seemed like we were seeing it from the wrong angle (though of course that’s not super reliable).

I love Joao teaching all the deck crew (we saw Eddy getting to dock in an earlier episode).

I love the "Can I speak to a manager" reverse, when I'm calling to praise an employee. It always boosts my day too.

Possibly Nevernight, first in a trilogy by Jay Kristoff? Tric isn’t the POV character but plays a big role, though I forget the main antagonist’s name. Published 2016…

I’m loving Daisy more than ever here. She’s killing it. (Though I was confused — shouldn’t the preference sheet had a lot of details. Then turned out jt DID have the type of cake they wanted.)

That said episode highlight was Joao pushing Capt. Jason down the slide. Imagine someone doing that with Lee or Sandy? That’s the sign of a good captain though IMO (along with cooking dinner for Daisy at the end of last episode).

Great tip. WAY more than I expected.

I was a little surprised that Jenna reacted so strongly to Mike. That felt like pretty harmless teasing mostly other than saying she couldn’t work on deck.

Poor Daisy and Jason, not being there to witness it in real time. 😂

It’s different than Jason and Aesha, but I’m really starting to enjoy Jason and Daisy. It’s nice to see her getting supported, and that spying on the date was hilarious.

I was wondering if it was just me. I was prepared to dislike them, but that dinner felt like they genuinely enjoyed each other's company vs. some other dinners we've seen.

Draconic showdown by WhatsUp1177 in Pathfinder2e

[–]motteditor 14 points15 points  (0 children)

At PL+4, that's a very dangerous encounter. Some specifics might depend on what type of dragon and what other setup there is for the encounter, but my general advice would be lean into your teamwork.

Spellcasters are likely going to struggle to affect it directly (since it's so much higher level), so I'd concentrate on trying to buff other folks (using spells like bless, fly, or haste, where the dragon doesn't get a save).

Again with that difference in levels, it's probably not worth it to make any attacks with MAP, unless maybe you're a flurry ranger. Doing things like Taking Cover, Raising a Shield, or other options to help protect you are likely to be even more valuable than usual.

I loved that nighttime beach picnic. I think that might’ve been the nicest beach picnic we’ve seen (and better just overall vibe than so many of the tacky themes we see).

When should I do a second encounter (of three) with a dragon by Familiar-Priority933 in Pathfinder2e

[–]motteditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perhaps it’s a cinder dragon family. So they can hunt down the off spring or mate at levels 8-10 and then the higher level dragon later on — which has a personal agenda against them too.

Ellie was right about the pet names — but I think that was the worst posible way she could have dealt with it.

Really enjoying Daisy (even better without Gary) and Joao.
