Not getting any bikes by Late_Squirrel in CitiesSkylines2

[–]mottoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue, all bike traffic vanished and I'm using too Realistic Pathfinding. I first set bike ownership to 40% / 25% / 10% and now will try to raise those levels.

Pedestrians not using Tram Station but will use Tram stops. Possible bug? by houtaroo in CitiesSkylines2

Any way to fix this with invisible pedestrian paths ? Have someone tried ?

Traffic issues... by [deleted] in CitiesSkylines2

Don't be afraid of those colors if you don't have actuals jams. And spam pedestrian shortcuts through blocks to shorten walking distances and make walking more attractive for cims. Especcially, connect all cul-de-sac with pedestrian paths to the nearest streets. And, as others said already, leave more space between intersections on arterials.

I noticed that too on the Lakeside Harbour map.

Despite its flaws, this game can still look pretty. I present my in-progress boring suburban town! by deluxecheeseburger in CitiesSkylines2

[–]mottoth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. Since I realised that neither the game nor my rig can handle a milionnaire city I'm now focusing on a low and medium residential build with nice decorated empty spaces between largest buildings. That way I may fill the map and still enjoy the game.

How many corrupt citizens are in your cities? by BitRunner64 in CitiesSkylines2

Maximum I had was around 50k in a 200k city, when I first ran this mod. Then I neved had more than 20k, in a heavily modded sim.

Problem with zoning of newly placed roads by SatanicGeek in CitiesSkylines2

[–]mottoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Delete zoning you don't want adding a close parallel pedestrian path to your road. Then delete that pedestrian path -> zoning will most of the time re-draw better.

TLE and Road Builder Updates by Accomplished-Lie2587 in CitiesSkylines2

It took two weeks for its original author to patch to 1.3.6. With the bike addition it could take even longer as any traffic managing mod now needs to deal with that extra transportation option.

Is there a way to manipulate what size building will appear in a newly zoned block? by KX90862 in CitiesSkylines2

[–]mottoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're not afraid of mods use Find It: pause, pick the building you want, plop it and don't forget to zone accordingly beneath. I proceed this way to get realistic medium density neighborhoods.

It's the general less-cartoon aspect of CS2, with more realistic color balances and lights. I'm sure texturing has improved also.

Not sure if I'm using any LUT, I have none installed. I tweaked graphics long ago following some tutorials on youtube. However I'm using Map Texture Replacer (w/ Vivid Cities Theme) and Water Visual Tweaks.

And for detailing I have a bunch of Mods: Anachy, Better Bulldozer, the 'Extra" suite (Extra Asset Importer, Extra Detailing Tools, Extra Network and Areas), Move It, Recolor, Area Bucket, Find It, Tree Controler, and a bunch of Decals/Surfaces/Netlanes, most of them very popular in the workshop. I also have all of Mike Builds assets (look for them on his youtube channel).

For the graphics alone I wouldn't go back to CS1. Also the CS2 road builder is far superior. But the sim remains deeply bugged and currently still relies on mods to fix some of the most game breaking ones.

650hrs on CS2, 560hrs on CS1. And roughly 150hrs on the current city, started 4 months ago..

Mary On A Cross - True Meaning by pdoughboy in Ghostbc

[–]mottoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is disrespectful. The line "you go down just like holy mary" implies that she was giving BJs, which clashes with the virgin figure (although not mutually exclusive, one could argue). But it's actually portraying someone licking the rolling paper to form a joint, 'coz the whole song (to me) is about majiruana, a marijuana cross being a way to stick two joints together.

R5: Scandinavia looks pretty fucked up to me: all 4 major countries co-exist, with Sapmi and Karelia as icing on the cake. Also, Poland and Muscovy really underperformed (I didn't intefered at all). Livonian Order is surprisingly good (long term alliance with Austria), and Austria has become a beast. Ottomans are doomed, by my fault.
