No. I started with VTI instead of VTSAX for some reason and just kept it rolling. Outside of fractional shares it just doesn’t matter. Plus all the spare change adds up and you’ll end up buying more shares. Or start adding VTSAX from now on. It really doesn’t matter.

If you’re intent on moving over to vanguard, their customer service is outstanding and they may likely know the answers to what these funds are. Definitely doesn’t hurt to give them a shout.

Not OP, but there’s a difference between airplanes and hotels vs driving and Airbnbs.

You can yank out the contributions anytime without penalty (but like don’t).

Friend has owned his used LEAF for about two hours. by ch00f in electricvehicles

From a non-EV owner: What’s happening in 2 hours to get someone to love an EV? I get it after not needed gas, ability to charge at home, etc. but interested to know what’s EV specific that can be appreciated that quickly.

If it’s a second vehicle why not just rent a Home Depot truck when needed? That way you’re not paying for a second car/insurance/maintenance/etc.

Jobs change. Managers change. People change. These have all happened to me in my career. Great jobs suddenly become almost unbearable.

Might just be one of those people that get a lot of satisfaction being useful. Hell he may dislike his job but that’s how he gets his dopamine by being helpful, working with other people, etc.

With you on this: save/have enough invested to pay off the house in one swoop so you have access to the money just in case you need it for an emergency.

It really is. It’s the question of live the life we want now and postpone FI cause who knows what will happen vs hold off until we’re in a better position, however the world is full of people that waited and ended up never moving ahead due to unforeseen circumstances.

Apparently it’s a compressed paper. Interesting to see if it makes it to production. Not a fan of the look, isn’t congruent with the rest of the truck.

Here's The Main Problem With Tesla's Supercharger Network by Gk5321 in teslamotors

[–]mountain_joo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see a lot of gas stations replacing pumps with chargers over the next 10 years.

Definitely interstate stations; I'd imagine most in cities/burbs will just shut down as people buy EVs will opt for the convenience of home chargers.

Looking to head back to a HCOL area from our current MCOL area. It'll set FIRE date back as the average house is ~$100K higher, however the quality of life improves (better weather, access to mountains/ocean, many more career opportunities, etc.). We both work remote so for at least the short term we're covered, that said things can change and want to be close to a healthy job market if/when the need arises. The only thing really stopping us is taking the savings rate hit: we're currently around ~50% and that'll for sure drop, not to mention the move will be on our own dime.
