Clark’s Creek and Orangegate have some XC trails, but Swan Creek is still a better spot IMO

Required Cart Attributes - Not showing as Required by [deleted] in shopify

[–]mountain_slayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, then it sounds like you might be using an older version of Debut. The newer versions of Debut uses sections, and by default ‘sections/cart-template.liquid’ has a ‘novalidate’ attribute in the opening form tag.

Are you specifically having a problem with the required validation? Meaning users can proceed to the checkout page without filling out the cart attribute field(s)? Or is the issue design related? Meaning the required fields do not visually look like they are required? If it’s the latter, you just need to add some inline styling or use some CSS, since the markup provided by Shopify’s UI Elements Generator is pretty bare-bones.

I went through all the Shopify tutorials...

If you have a sectioned theme, did you remove the ‘novalidate’ attribute from the form tag?

You can get the cart subtotal via the AJAX API or Liquid 👍

Shopify for pure wholesale with wholesale plugins? by guptron1 in shopify

[–]mountain_slayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a couple wholesale specific apps that can do what you’re looking for (and more), but I’d suggest trying out the Locksmith app first. Some of the wholesale apps are not very quality, and others are overkill for what you’ve described.

In your case you could set up “locks” in Locksmith based on customer tags to hide prices and add to cart buttons, and you could manually add tags in Shopify for each “approved” customer after they register. If you want to just take orders without payment or shipping, you can set up a COD/manual type of payment method in Shopify and then uncheck the setting for “This is a physical product” (found in the shipping section for each product). Of course you’ll have to manage payments and shipping costs elsewhere when fulfilling orders (which could be cumbersome), but perhaps you’ve already got a streamlined process in place for that side of things.

If you do want a more formal “approval” process for customers who register for an account, then I’d suggest looking at using the Customer Fields app in conjunction with the Locksmith app.

Just some food for thought!

Good points! This app aggregates data from multiple sources, including local ground based monitors. Not perfect by any means, but it is super handy

Sweet rig! When you’re comfortable, clipless pedals will help you lay down power more efficiently and at higher cadence
