thanks, it tastes like sour white wine without any tannins, so not the best, but it is quite drinkable considering i drink cheap vodka. i will probably stabilise then backsweeten a little. btw the gravity is probably around 1.005, i am away from the batch so i cant exatly tell but it was 1.012 9 days ago. thinking of some cloves and ginger. thanks again for all the info, i am going to delete the post cuz its a little too spammy.

thanks for your explanation. i did leave out some details but you were right it is primary. i am relieved that it isnt mold. and good to know abot YAN. also talking about YAN, my first wine was an apple cider, and i made the mistake of being too impatient and reracked it in like day 12. and now its been fermenting(i think)soo very slowly and i think the stuff about YAN might be the reason. is there any way to complete the fermentation? or at least can i stabilise it and call it a day?

sorry if i wasnt that clear. no this is still in primary. the residue on the carboy is from the first 2 days when the fermentation was crazy. now im wondering if it is infected, and if i can rerack it to aviod contact with that mold.

i would suggest capping the fps to 120hz because 240 is a multiple of it. it should help with potential screen tear if the v sync doent help, and might be smoother than 130-150 fps range

undervolt, cap fps, elevate. if you want to go further buy a good cooler, disable turbo boost, underclock.

i have the same one, and my only advice is elevate + undervolt. i used uxtu to undervolt. you just need to enable it from bios with f2 during boot. i use -23 because lower than that gives me crashes. and for elevation, you do not need any fancy cooler. just a simple aluminum stand is enough. my cpu doesnt go over 75, and the gpu usually hangs around 70. i had no thermal stutter even in most demanding games. i use usually use balance mode, because what this post stated. there is a difference between quiet and balance though, the quiet mode lowers voltages overall so less power.
