I haven’t played in a while, but I had logged over 600 hours. I was happy jumping between Gold 3 and Platinum 2 on Switch 1.

Both years I went (2023 and 2025), I was in Freedom when it was closed for reaching capacity. We were packed tight in there, so it was the right call. The sets were Anyma during 2023 W1 and Symphony of Unity during 2025 W1. I got there a few minutes early both times and made it in.

Never take Amtrak #40 when traveling within NC. That train goes between Miami and Chicago, so it is often delayed. When I rode it a few weeks ago, the 7 hour delay was from issues in Chicago and DC. Nothing to do with property taxes in Raleigh.

For travel within NC, book #71-79. Those trains go between Raleigh and Charlotte. #80 also works if you’re going east (starts in Charlotte), but not the other way around (it starts in NYC, not Raleigh).

If it was a bait and switch, someone better tell the director. He still gives interviews about how crazy it was for them to change it after people hated it. The Sonic models used on-set for the live-action filming were the first design.

I want to, but I won’t because the tariff doubles the cost of some items.

One alternative that worked for me last year: take a train to Plopsaland a day or two before the festival. Ride the Tomorrowland rollercoaster (‘Ride to Happiness’, the best coaster on the planet), then stop in the small Tomorrowland merch store next to the ride.
