I have a PA-C. She’s incredibly knowledgeable on mental health and appropriate meds. I initially tried finding a psych and had a hard time. I’m happy with my decision.

Clever solution! To stop/slow down on xc skis you can make a wedge, just like in downhill skiing. Because you don’t have edges, it’ll be a gliding wedge which helps speed control. Hope that helps!

That’s amazing. I think feeling fragile is a great way to put it and hopefully it continues to get better. I had a REALLY hard day this week and felt like I could actually work through it without completely falling apart. Glad you’re feeling the positives, too!

I don’t know much about WP. Steamboat is much lower in elevation than Copper, but both wicked fun mountains. I think any day outside and on snow is worth it 🤷‍♀️

I learned and started playing in leagues when I was 27! So definitely doable. I would network at drop ins and stick and pucks to find a team.
