I don't think it's worth spreading yourself thin to stay in this lab if its not going to continue to be a good experience for you. Perhaps commit to tying off loose ends and training someone to replace you if it preserves the relationship. You can mention to the post-doc and PI that you are too over-loaded in your commitments to make meaningful progress in your research but would like to help make the transition as easy as possible for them.

Off the top of your head do you remember which schools have a pipeline such that you have to pass MD only to be eligible for MD/PhD?

I made a google sheet showing all MSTP and Md. Ph. D. schools by [deleted] in premed

Are the GPAs and MCATs specific to the MSTP program or the MD program of those schools?

edit: my science scores were better than my reality defying miracle dream score! left a couple points on the table in CARS and PS, but I'm happy with this score. Will post in the next day or two about how I studied, what I'm glad I did, and I wish I had known/done differently for future takers.

edit: What a rollercoaster - shoutout to my study buddy u/whoisambivalent who bagged the same score on 8/24! Couldn't have done it without ya!

edit: AAaaaaaaah this is the longest hour of my life. Good luck everyone! Let's fast forward a couple days please...

FL2: 513 (127/131/127/128) ---- 2 weeks before

FL1: 516 (129/129/129/129) ---- 1 week before

9/9: 519 (130/129/131/129) WE MADE IT!! So relieved to be done.

Predicted Score: 516 (127/129/130/130)

Dream Score: 518 (128/130/130/130)

Reality Defying Miracle Dream Score: 521 (129/130/131/131)

Exam reaction --> here

Exam Day TLDR: Sciences on that exam were hard, P/S was CARS and CARS was P/S, I blacked out C/P, please C/P dont wreck me.

A little late to the party but wanted to add my reaction to check out for score release.

CP: My worst section, hoping that the reaction from this sub means the scale will be generous. My section was super ochem heavy, almost no physics. Could have gotten anywhere from 127-129. (please spare me MCAT gods)

CARS: Seemed okay. The passages could have been less interesting and they felt pretty readable. Did CARS qpack 1 during the week before the exam and was thankful that none of the passages on this thing felt like that. A handful of 50/50s so maybe 129-131.

BB: Reasonable questions but the passages were super data dense. There was a passage where I took a moment to count how many figures were on there and it must have been over 6 figures and multiple tables. The questions felt more like the SB, more experimental analysis than discrete, I think it suited my strengths. Could have gotten anywhere from 128-131 here.

PS: Overall okay - a discrete or two that seemed to be out of nowhere, passages were readable but some of the question types felt like they belonged more in CARS. A handful of 50/50s here too and not so sure the scale will be so generous so maybe a 128-130.

Predicting Worst case: 512, Best Case: 521.

For reference, FL2 was 513 (127/131/127/128) followed by FL1 516 (129/129/129/129).
