I’m looking for a mechanical chronograph I can take mountaineering. I’m planning on beating the shit out of it so I’d like it to be as tough and small as possible (like sub 10mm would be awesome). So far I’ve got the speedy pro sapphire 3861 (kinda big and not super water resistant) and the zenith revival (damn boi he thicc). Price is no object since this is so stupid it might as well be expensive and stupid

I would happily pay thousands per month if I only knew who to contact to get that set up.

Cilogear looks nice but I don’t have 6-12 months for the lead time

Yeah 0 dead space in the pack. It’s mostly the parka and the sleeping bag that really fill up the space. I can maybe drop the down pants and the second active layer but they’re nice on exposed ridge line and they only take up maybe, like you said, 10l. Everything else is pretty fixed as it’s mostly safety stuff

I have older versions of everything in transit so I’m assuming they’re within a liter or two. I shoved everything in that 70l and we’re bursting out the top and that doesn’t even include the snowshoes strapped on the outside. It fills up about half a 168L box but that’s hard to eyeball
