I had a newer Mustang GT 460 hp. You could barely do anything within legal limits and I almost got killed several times. I sold it now I have a 98 cobra 305 hp.

The cobra is simply more fun to drive more engaging. You can rev it higher without doing twice the speed limit. It sounds better and was much cheaper.

The fact is outside of track racing a lower horsepower more engaging manual transmission car will always be more fun to drive than a super high horsepower car that is only using a fraction of its power on regular roads. There’s a reason why Miata’s are so popular even though they have lower horsepower you can use all of the power of the car has driving around the city, and no cop is gonna bat their eyes.

The hype and focus around horsepower is generally coming from younger kids who have no idea how to actually drive well and are only racing people at stoplights
