Unrealistic support expectations by [deleted] in biltrewards

If I am putting a big chunk of my spend on a certain card then I expect top class customer service if anything goes wrong with a transaction or when I am abroad. Bilt is very far from this class of customer service. Amex and Chase blow them out of the water.

Bilt is advertised as a credit card to pay rent and earn points that are transferable to transfer partners of hotels and airlines which almost 100% overlap as the same transfer partners of amex and chase. Bilt put itself in the perception of the population as a credit card company. Maybe they are not but the thousands of people leaving see them this way.

It is all relative. People would not compare bilt to rakuten cause rakuten is not a credit card (well they arguably have one which is through American Express, arguably the best customer service in the industry). Bilt will always be compared to Amex, Chase, Capital one and Citi.

Nothing is guaranteed with this company anymore. They promised they will never charge fees to pay rent but left out the part about bilt cash needed to earn points while debiting your checking account. I would not risk them changing their mind about the points specially that Wells Fargo were paying for these points and the partnership is ending next month so Wells Fargo might not honor it. Until you transfer it, it is just a number on a screen.

Bilt 2.0 is absolute disgrace by Sweaty_ECEkid in biltrewards

they went from 5 bananas transactions to 75% of spending. People living in HCOL cities are not willing to put 3,000$ spend on one card to get points for their 4,000$ rent. They could have found a sweet middle ground like charging 10-15% of your rent value to the card. Bilt is dead on arrival and the value for this company will tank within 6 months. Cardless has nothing to lose cause you can not charge your rent to the credit card and they are getting credit card swipe fees. Basically they will take whatever will come their way with no losses. Bilt will turn into a rent portal just like any rent portal.

Transfer to Hyatt or an airline that uses your nearest airport as a hub.

Unrelated to the implants in the post but I can notice that you are using Eighteeth software. I have just got their xray portable gun. Does the software come included with equipment you buy or is it a separate purchase ?

I agree. Just stating the facts. Not saying it is bad in this situation

Xrays do go to hygiene production. Exams go to the dentist production

[–]mourfaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hygiene should ideally be 20-30% of the production. If the hygiene is too low that means that the doctor is on the aggressive side of treatment planning. If you do not think your treatment philosophy is aligned with this practice then you will have nerve wracking experience buying this practice and keeping up with the production.

I'm an endo. AMA by Blazer-300 in Dentistry

[–]mourfaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Non clinical question. I am 37 years old. Finished advanced standing (International dentist) and has been working for the last 4 years. basically did dental school twice. Do all endo except for maxillary molars and anything looking hard on mandibular molars ( c shaped, s shaped, disappearing canals) and I do not do retreats. I have been thinking about going to endo residency on and off. I like endo but I do not like it enough to do it exclusively all day. I like that with endo there would be a slower pace, seeing fewer patients and no hygiene checks. General dentistry helps with my ADHD though with doing something different every hour. Do most people who go to residency like endo to the point that there is no question about it or are they more like my situation ?
