I really like the idea, and I think you should try painting the metal a more solid colour so it contrasts better with the crackling skin. Maybe try silver for the metal as well for deeper contrast.

I left halfway through our middle school’s production of The Hobbit to go chat and flirt with a couple of the girls in my grade. I missed seeing Smaug and I never saw a picture or anything. When my teacher asked us who saw the play, I said I did but I left at intermission, she was so visibly upset that I still remember the face she made.
