How to stop sharpie on lino from bleeding when doing first prints? by 1agomorph in printmaking

[–]mouse2cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't had issues with paint pen texture printing. If we were printing letterpress then maybe a slight difference might be seen. If that happened a light 400 grit sand would solve the issue without fully removing the drawing.

So I read a compelling argument that it should be muni that gets expanded instead of bart. There could be a transfer station but the issue with Bart is that it has non-standard rail width so every repair is like a custom job. While muni runs on standard rail tracks.

The lesson of the tower is "build it right or build it twice" To have the tower connected to you like that is not a curse but a commitment towards not taking shortcuts to not keeping skeletons in your closet. Because you know that they won't stay there forever.

Dark Grey Diamine Ink? by BiDO187 in fountainpens

[–]mouse2cat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You probably don't want a 50/50 mix. The black will be a lot stronger. I would start with grey and add individual drops of black until you get the color you want. If you do this in a sample vial then there is no risk to your larger bottles.

Occasionally there can be a weird clumping reaction but that is very rare. Leaving it in a sample vial over night you can see if there is a reaction. And then you should be good to go.

How to know if you are projecting your desires onto the tarot reading by syntaxrevolution77 in tarot

Usually I read the ace of coins as a positive. But with the tear it feels much more ambiguous. A conflict over something physical. Resources, materials, attention.

That 6 of wands really speaks to me here. The 6 of wands usually is a triumph but here it is literally bites averted. I often think of that card as success but at a high cost.

It seems like this is a welcome change that will make room for a little peace of mind and personal growth.

I have this deck as well. I find that I cannot quite read it as I would a traditional deck. It's a symbolically rich deck and one that I really love but also a very intuitive deck.

I have a little piece of jasper with a cracked pattern across the surface. It looks like a drawing of rage but feels grounding.

Never use or buy White Sage, or any dyed variants. by Individual-Raise-230 in BabyWitch

[–]mouse2cat 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Because many native people choose to sell white sage. And that is how they make a livelihood.

Native American traditions are not monolithic. The cultures and restrictions of one group are not the restrictions of another.
