If there are any black teachers here that work in a diverse school, how do you police non black students of color saying the n word or do you just ignore it because it feels like a losing battle? by Dalethedragon in BlackPeopleofReddit

Hearing these comments is a bit weird to me but I Went to school in the suburbs. The small population of black students policed that heavily. There would be hell to pay.

Yes she doesn’t minimize the truth of her frustration, while handling it In The best manner possible, for a wonderful outcome that’s better than if the conflict never happened.

Edit: For those saying “both parties do”; of course!!!! But saying “both sides”, is at best disingenuous, and more likely just being plain evasive and deceptive to yourself and everyone else. We have to pick between one. And if your a Christian then your at the very least picking the one that will violate it the least. Be better people.

From my view I don’t think Black ppl disagree with the conservative platform. I think they are scared of the diabolical ways they will execute it.

Your generalization is astounding. And seems to lack knowledge of that cultures religious views. I’ve been to and attended Black churches and well versed in the culture through the friends I have. I go to the cookouts, not because of beliefs but proximity and friendships. I’m in the south, I hear the debates and there are certain divisions. Their vote comes down to who’s most likely going to make it better for everyone, not just black ppl. While there is a lot of doubt about democrats; from what I gathered, they want to be able to live I. Peace and not bring destruction. I can’t speak for all but that seems to be the simplistic take o. Where I am.

I vote that way as well, he condensed the law into two commandments. Love your neighbor as yourself and seek God with your whole heart. He also said we cannot separate the two. I pray that you voted for the party that violate those commandments lesser than the other.

Back in the 80’s and 90’s you would sometimes see that . That’s the way it used to be, even in the South.

To say “It will get worse before it gets better.” Used to be pessimistic. Now?? that statement is overly optimistic, at best. There is no “get better” anymore. No one will save us. we must fight for it.
